Building a balance between economic growth and environmental protection as an idea seems very easy. There are several ways to go about this and ones that would be easier to ask and carry out than others. I don’t like to over think things or over complicate things so I always try to stick to the wonderful acronym we should all be familiar with, “K.I.S.S.” Keep It Simple Stupid. Companies should give back to the environment just as much as they take. Seems simple enough, right? But how do you motivate companies to not be selfish in trying to get as much profit as they can? We all know that for a lot of companies, giving back to the environment more than likely, will take away from what they profit. But what if there are ways to make it possible to keep it inexpensive and what if we can regulate just how much a company needs to give? …show more content…

There isn’t a single rule against taking this food and throwing it all away just as there isn’t any rules in any other food industry company I’ve worked for, of throwing food out. This food as soon as it is thrown in the trash is now considered waste. If Starbucks or any other food company, had a rule, enforcing this food to be donated, or for the last hour, companies gave out food that will be going out, is this food still considered waste? You are losing money by tossing this food out anyway, why not give back to the people in need. In a world, full of technology every company uses electricity. This energy is taken and is not being replaced for the most part. So why are we not using renewable energy. Solar panels for example, are becoming more and more inexpensive and easier to make than ever. If all companies were required to have one source of renewable energy this could easily cut back on the expenses and resources that have been taken. Every company can give back or at the very least find new ways to use their
