Maya Angelou said “I think a hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people.” This can't be anymore true of Judy Hopps. In the beginning of the film she was naive, ambitious, and optimistic. Although Judy Hopps is considered a dumb bunny, Judy Hopps is an hero because she stands up for what's right , she is brave, and she follows the Hero’s Journey. Every hero Must stand up for what's right. For the most part, this is true of Judy Hopps a bunny who stands up for what's right. For example, when she sees her friend getting bullied by Gideon Grey, she stood up for them and returned the tickets Gideon Grey stole from them.even though he is bigger than her she didn't back down. Judy Hopps also stood up for a fox and son, when the “child” was not allowed to get the popsicle because he was a predator and not a elephants. she …show more content…

This is the ordinary world because there wasn't any special with her she was regular person.Second, she goes through many tests and trials, for example, the first is when she saved the mouse, the second finding Mr. Otterton or she'll be fired, and getting her friend back. In order to be a hero, one must be courageous. Some people that are heroes are Susan B. Anthony and Harriet Tubman.
One character that seemed heroic to me was Boobie Miles Uncle. When Boobie was little he went in and out of foster homes, until his Uncle, L.V. Miles, took him in.Thus, L.V. Miles is a hero for Boobie by saving him from foster homes, and setting a good example by teaching him useful things.
A hero is someone who doesn’t give up and keeps on fighting for their goal. Jackie Robinson is a great hero and came over great challenges, but he achieved his goal. How Jackie Robinson embodies the human spirt is that he broke the color barrier, and the challenges he faced, and his life.
Stand up to the injustice unafraid of the strong enemy. Do the right thing even if you are weak. That is who we call a hero. Johnny could satisfy himself to save his friend. He could literally do anything to save his friend.
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Joseph Campbell). Clara Barton could be regarded as a hero because she went into several military battles during the civil war with a strong mindset to help the soldiers who were wounded and to provide supplies that were needed but scarce17.She was a woman of many talents who accomplished a lot but became best known for the founding of the Red Cross in America. Her humanitarian contributions and compassionate personality allowed her to connect with many people. As inspiring as Clara Barton was, she wasn’t born a hero but became one with the influence of her younger years. Clara Barton’s family life and personal struggles when she was younger, ultimately shaped
What’s a hero? A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities. Hero’s can also be someone who has made a change in the world and or a society like Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks is considered a hero because of all the things she went through and made happen throughout her life. There were many journeys and obstacles that she faced to make things the way they are now. This ties into “Joseph Campbell’s stages of the hero’s journey”. Due to some of the decisions that Mrs. Parks made eventually caused her to go through some of the stages of “Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey”. Her stages of the hero’s journey include The Ordinary World, The Call to Adventure, Test, Enemies, Allies,
There is a hero in us all. A hero is someone who risks their own life to save or do good for others. Ponyboy is a hero because he risked his life to save children from a burning church. Johnny is a hero even though he killed someone it was to save his friend’s life but he also saved children from a burning church. Dally has been arrested, picks fights, and drinks, but when it comes to the people he is close with he has his soft spots for them. All bad boys have a good side.
Who is a hero? In contemporary times, usage of the term has become somewhat of a cliché. Over the years, the term “hero” has become representative of a wide variety of individuals, each possessing differing traits. Some of the answers put forth by my colleagues (during our in-class discussion on heroism) as to whom they consider heroes pointed to celebrities, athletes, teachers and family members. Although the occupations differed, each of their heroes bore qualities that my classmates perceived as extraordinary, whether morally or physically. Nonetheless, Webster’s defines “hero” as “a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities.” Thus, it is worth considering that individuals become heroes relative to the situation with which they’re faced.
In summary, the aspects of a hero are being adroit, caring, and tenacious. A modern mother and Odysseus both display these traits. Odysseus witnessed his men being killed by the Cyclopes when he was on his way home from Troy, but a mom would do anything to save her children. No matter who a person is, they’re still a hero because a hero is someone that never gives up. A hero doesn’t have to be strong or smart; they just have to be themselves. A hero can be anyone, like an average mom or a famous soldier. In life, every single person is hero; whether they saved a life or saved a soul.
Heroes. Everyone wants to be a hero, but sometimes, people lose sight of what a true hero really is. It does not have to be someone who flies around and saves innocent people from perilous monsters. A hero is simply someone that inspires others. In Alexie’s The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, Junior was a hero because he rose above the expectations the world placed on him through his courage, passionate determination, and sympathetic perception.
A hero is a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievement, or noble qualities. John Jay was a hero because he was one the nation’s Founding Fathers. He helped bring independence to the colonies along with creating a constitution
It takes a lot to be called a hero. Robert F. Kennedy once said, “Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or the lot of others. Or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope.” A hero is someone that will always be remembered for something good that they did. There are numerous reasons as to why one can say Harry Truman is a hero. His commitment and strength began earlier in his life when he decided to serve his country by joining the army during the World War (Miller 132).
Even though Harriet Tubman had to break the law, She should be counted as a hero because she had freed over three hundred slaves. She also joined the underground railroad and was a conductor. She was also kind when she died she gave her home to a church. She was so famous governors know her. That was the life of hero.
A hero is defined as: A person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities (Oxford). This definition can be altered to incorporate many perspectives of a ‘hero’. Two person’s idea of a hero may be similar, but the exact identity in their respective perspectives will vary. In my opinion all it takes is an average man laying a coat across a shivering child on the streets to make the leap from average to hero. Forrest Gump is a hero because he takes the extra step, exceeds everyone’s expectations of him, such as when he was young and got his leg brace stuc...
Heroes are ordinary people who do unbelievable things. Heroes are people who stand up for what they know is right no matter the consequences. Most of all, heroes are men and women who see an opportunity for change and seize it. They use these opportunities to not only make things right, but to make things happen.
