To be a outstanding professional soccer player, it is usually the case that you need to be tall, fast and very strong. The interesting thing about Landon is that he doesn’t really fall into the tall and strong categories. Standing pretty short at 5 feet 8 inches it is very hard for Landon to win ball in the air over tall center backs or muscle the ball off a player when you are almost four or five inches smaller then them, but Landon has shown us how to use your own positives to your advantage. With being very small, Landon is quite agile and can dribble the ball very quickly. Knowing this Landon has learned to use these skills to get around many player and score many goals and by doing this he has shown many smaller than average player that they are not at a disadvantage.
Also, during the same interview, he said, “to keep his contract and reviews up he will need to play with intensity to help his team win, and make himself a better player.” He said, “It’s a great thing to Freddy was offered the opportunity to play professional soccer and play for the United States’ U-20 men’s national team. Freddy signed with DC United to take the place of an injured player. In addition to that contract, on November 19, 2003 he was named to the United States National team. More than his parents have been telling him. Paul playing soccer is contradictory to his blindness. While playing soccer, he participates and plays like everyone else. He is moving beyond his disability. In fact, Paul is an outstanding goalie, “The ball stuck in my outstretched hand like it was Velcro.”
He went to St. Serfs school were he was a rather quiet pupil, until of course, as anyone who knows him, he stepped onto the soccer pitch. He shunned the roll of forward for the more unorthodox "bare knuckle boxer” and "chief shin kicker” role, it was novelty for him to be on the pitch a whole ninety minutes, never mind score goals. He then went on to play for Prestonfield Boys Club and then Napier University football team. Sadly this was to be the end of his sporting career, as this was when he discovered alcohol and women.

As a young male, Owens worked in groceries, loaded freight cars, and even worked in a shoe repair shop. (www.anb.org). During this time period, Jesse Owens realized he had a passion for running. He was encouraged mainly by his Junior High Track coach, Charles Riley. Riley started a rigorous training program for Owens in morning sessions before school because Owens worked. Within a year, Owens was running the 100-yard dash in eleven seconds and in 1928 he set two world records for his age group in the high jump, at six feet, and the long jump, at twenty-two feet, eleven and three-quarters inches (jesse-owens.org). In addition to his mind-boggling amounts of goals for his club, Real Madrid, Ronaldo has in short terms ´single handedly´ dragged Portugal through the group stages and a make or break match against Sweden, to the World Cup. This was achieved on a night where he saved one of his best Portuguese performances for the biggest stage possible. After drawing the first leg of the tie 1-1 (scoring Portugal´s only goal) Cristiano and his team-mates then had the tough task of going away to Sweden to face Zlatan Ibrahimovic and co in an all or nothing match in which the winner would progress to the Worlc Cup in Brazil in 2014. Ronaldo did what he does best. A master class in clinical finishing and team leadership was produced from arguably the greatest player ever to play the game as he produced a wonderful hattrick.
He was then signed by Manchester United for £25.6 million which was a record fee for a teenager at that time. Rooney made his mark in the United side by scoring a hat trick in the Champions League match against Fenerbahce which made him the youngest player to score a hat trick in the Champions League, aged on 18 years and 335 days.
