Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer: Serial Killer

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was born May 21, 1960. He was murdered by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver on November 28, 1994. Jeffrey Dahmer was born in West Allis, Wisconsin. When Dahmer was growing up his mother was greedy for attention and often left Dahmer to his own devices starting in first grade. While in elementary school Dahmer was considered quiet and uncommunicative by his peers, the teachers thought this was a sign of neglect caused by his mother’s illness. Early in Dahmer’s life a developed a fascination with insects and animals. He would place the insects in jars and he would collect road kill to dismember back home. He would also go around searching for animal bones and with live animals he would feel over to see where the bones were

located. Dahmer, at the age of eight, learned how to bleach and preserve animal bones. He learned this skill from his father and Dahmer would use the skill to preserve his animal parts and the skill was later used to preserve human parts. In high school Dahmer developed a drinking problem and developed apathy. In high school Dahmer realized that he was homosexual and developed fantasies of himself drugging men and raping them. When he was sixteen he attempted to capture and rape a jogger that frequently went by his house, the jogger never showed so Dahmer decided not to pursue the endeavor.
Dahmer committed his first murder three weeks after his graduation in 1978.

The victim's name was Steven Hicks. Dahmer picked up Hicks hitchhiking and offered to take the hitchhiker to his house for some alcohol. After a while Hicks wanted to leave but Dahmer didn’t want him to leave, so Dahmer hit Hicks in the head with a dumbbell and strangled Hicks with the dumbbell. Dahmer then stripped the corpse of its clothes and masturbated over the corpse. He hid the corpse in the crawl space of his home and dissected the man. Dahmer dissolved Hicks flesh with acid in a toilet and crushed the bones with a sledge hammer. Dahmer scattered the remains outside his home. In 1981, Dahmer was charged with drunk and disorderly conduct. On August 7, 1982 Dahmer was arrested for indecent exposure, he exposed himself to a crowd of women and children. In 1985 Dahmer stated to frequent bathhouses for homosexual sex. Dahmer described his early experiences as frustrating because his sexual partners moved around and would not stay still. To combat his frustration Dahmer admitted sleeping pills to his partners and then he would rape their unconscious bodies. After this incident happening twelve times, the bathhouses banned Dahmer of their use. Dahmer also mentioned an attempt he made to unearth a eighteen year old corpse to use for sexual pleasure, but the soil was to hard to dig, so Dahmer didn’t go through with his plan.In 1986, Dahmer was arrested for masturbating in front of two twelve year old

boys. Dahmer was charged with disorderly conduct and sentenced to one year probation and he had to receive counseling.
Dahmer’s first official serial murder was on November 20, 1987. The victim’s name was Steven Tuomi. Dahmer met Tuomi in a gay bar and convinced Tuomi to go to the Ambassador Hotel. Dahmer states that he had no intention of murdering Tuomi, he just intended to drug and rape him. Dahmer states that he woke up to find Tuomi dead. Tuomi’s chest was crushed in and he had bruises from Dahmer’s fists. Dahmer purchased a large suitcase and brought the body to his grandmother’s house. After about a week Dahmer severed the head, arms, and legs from the torso. He placed the flesh in garbage bags and wrapped the bones in a sheet and smashed them with a sledgehammer. Dahmer disposed of all of Tuomi’s remains in the trash except Tuomi’s severed head. Tuomi’s severed head was stripped of its flesh, and it was used as a stimulus for masturbation until it was to brittle. After it became too brittle, Dahmer disposed of it. Dahmer soon began to pursue victims. He would target them at gay bars and convince them to come back to his grandmother’s house where the person would be killed. Dahmer’s second serial murder was a fourteen year old male prostitute by the name of James Doxtator. The murder occurred January 16, 1988. Dahmer promised Doxtator fifty dollars for posing nude for pictures. Dahmer drugged and strangled Doxtator after they engaged in intercourse. Dahmer left Doxtator’s body in his cellar for a week before he dismembered in the same fashion as Tuomi’s body.

Like with Tuomi, Dahmer kept Doxtator’s skull for masturbation, before he destroyed it because it became brittle. Dahmer’s third serial murder was a twenty-two year old bisexual named Richard Guerrero. Dahmer met Guerrero outside a gay bar and convinced Guerrero to spend the night at Dahmer’s grandmother’s house for fifty dollars. Guerrero was strangled with a leather strap after being drugged by sleeping pills. Dahmer states that after he killed Guerrero, he performed oral sex on the corpse. Guerrero’s body was dismembered like Tuomi and Doxtator and his skull was used for the same purpose before being destroyed. On April 23, Dahmer led a young man back to his grandmother’s house. The grandmother observed that Dahmer was not alone, so Dahmer decided not to kill this particular person. In September of 1988, Dahmer’s grandmother asked him to move out because of his frequent sex partners visiting and she smelled foul odors from the basement and the garage. Dahmer found an apartment at North 25th street, Milwaukee. On September 26, Dahmer was arrested for drugging and sexually fondling a thirteen year old boy. In January 1989, Dahmer was convicted of second-degree sexual assault. The sentencing was delayed until May 23,

1989. Dahmer moved back in with his grandmother because of financial problems. Dahmer’s fourth serial murder was a twenty-four year old model named Anthony Sears. Dahmer found Sears at a gay bar on March 29, 1989. Two weeks before his sentencing for sexual assault. Dahmer and Sears proceed to Dahmer’s grandmother’s house. Dahmer and Sears had oral sex before Dahmer drugged and strangled Sears. Dahmer put Sears in his bathtub and decapitated the head and attempted to flay the body. He then took the flesh off the bones and smashed the bones. Dahmer liked how Sears looked, so he preserved the gentilla and head in acetone. He kept the head and gentilla in his work locker. They were encased in a jar. After this murder Dahmer was charged as a sex offender for what he did to the boys and was sentenced to five years of probation and had to be in a house of corrections for one year. He also had to register as a sex offender. Two months before his release from the work camp, Dahmer gained parole and moved to 924 North 25th Street. One week after he moved into his new apartment, he murdered Raymond Smith, a male prostitute. Smith was promised fifty dollars for sex. Smith was given a drink that had seven sleeping pills and he was then strangled by Dahmer. The next day Dahmer bought a camera and posed Smith in suggestive poses before he dismembered Smith in the bathroom. Dahmer kept the skull. Three months after the murder of Smith, Dahmer found a man named Ernest Miller, who went to Dahmer’s apartment for fifty dollars and agreed to let Dahmer listen to his heart and stomach. Dahmer then gave Miller a drink laced with two sedatives and had his carotid artery slashed. Dahmer stripped the body and took pictures of the corpse. Dahmer kissed and stroked Miller’s severed head while taking apart the rest of his body. Dahmer put Miller’s heart and portions of flesh in the fridge for later consumption. The rest of the flash was gotten rid of, however Dahmer did preserve the skeleton. Dahmer’s next victim was twenty-two year old David Thomas. Dahmer met Thomas at Grand Avenue Mall. Dahmer promised Thomas drinks and cash if he would pose nude. Dahmer did not find Thomas attractive after he gave sedatives to him, but he was afraid that Thomas would press charges if he awoke, so Dahmer strangled and dismembered Thomas and photographed the process. After this murder Dahmer did not kill for five months because he could not lure men to his apartment. Dahmer’s next victim was seventeen year old Curtis Straughter. Dahmer met Straughter at a bus stop, Dahmer lured Straughter to his apartment to pose for nude photos in exchange for sex. Dahmer drugged and strangled Straughter with a leather strap. Dahmer kept the hands, skull, and genitals after the dismemberment process, which he photographed each stage. Dahmer’s next victim was 19 year old Errol Lindsey. Dahmer lured Lindsey to his apartment, where he drugged and poured muriatic acid into the skull. Lindsey woke up and was against drugged by Dahmer and was strangled. Dahmer kept the skull and flayed the skin and tried to preserve it by freezing it, but Dahmer threw it away after it became too brittle. In 1991, there were complaints against Dahmer for making excessive noise in his apartment and their was an foul odor emitting from his apartment that Dahmer passed off as his freezer breaking down and the food spoiling. Dahmer’s next victim was Tony Hughes who was a deaf-mute. Dahmer lured Hughes to his apartment to pose nude for photographs. Hughes was strangled, he was left on the floor for three days before being dismembered by Dahmer. Dahmer kept the skulls and photographed the dismemberment process. Dahmer’s next victim was fourteen year old Konerak Sinthasomphone. Dahmer lured Sinthasomphone to his apartment to pose for nude pictures. Dahmer drugged Sinthasomphone and performed oral sex on him. Dahmer drilled a hole in Sinthasomphone skull and put muriatic acid in the hole, right into the frontal lobe. Dahmer put Sinthasomphone into his room and left to go drink at a bar. Dahmer returned to find Sinthasomphone outside his apartment with three women. Sinthasomphone was sitting naked. Dahmer tried to convince the women that Sinthasomphone was his lover, the women did not believe him and they phoned 911. Dahmer told the police that Sinthasomphone was his nineteen year old boyfriend. He told the police that Sinthasomphone was drunk because they had a fight a
