Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte reflects the contentions Jane faces as a child and while growing up. Bronte gives a distinct explanation of the struggles Jane has to face while living with the Reeds family. Bronte describes her life story under the name of Jane Eyre. Bronte faces many challenges while growing up, resembling Jane's life in the narrative. Jane Eyre is an autobiography of Charlotte Bronte's life, which proclaims many challenges and contentions that the author and the character face. The various events Jane faces as a child guides throughout her life while growing up. Struggle and love are the main key points in the story. Jane faces new challenges everywhere she goes; Mrs. Reed treats her badly while living with the Reeds family, Mr. Brocklehurst does not treat her any better, and when she meets Mr. Rochester, she faces the challenge of love.
Everyone looks down upon jane and treats her badly because she is an orphan. Mrs Reed treats her miserably because Mr. Reed likes Jane more than the other children. Jane is ill-treated by everyone as Mrs. Reeds tells her “No; you are less than a servant, for you do nothing for your keep. There, sit down, and think over your wickedness.” Jane starts taking actions for the things being done to her, and she would speak up for her, “you are like a murderer- you are like a slave-driver- you are like the Roman emperors!.” Jane starts taking actions by talking back to the Reeds family, and in return she is admitted to a school named Lowood. Lowood is a school where she finds new courage with the help of Helen Burns, and Miss. Temple, Jane's teacher. ...s Jane faces throughout her life guides her to become the person she becomes. She faces many struggles but she does not let anything stop her from getting what she wants. Bronte does an outstanding job by displaying her life into Jane Eyre's life. Even though Jane is constantly put down by people when she lives with, she never gives up in life. Helen Burns, and Miss. Temple becomes a huge support in Jane's life. Jane fights a lot to have some freedom when she was little, and when she goes to Lowood she finally regains the freedom she has been yearning. She earns a spot in the society by working her best, and with the support of few people. Jane's experiences of struggle and challenges shape the person whom she becomes at the end.
