James Larkin was born on 21 January 1876 in Liverpool to Irish immigrant parents. Larkin had a hard life and lost his father at the age of 14. Jim married his wife Elizabeth Brown in 1903 and the pair had two children named James and Dennis. Over the years in his menial jobs, his interest in socialism became a career path and he even joined the Independent Labour Party. In 1905 he was one of the few foremen who joined the Liverpool dockers strike and lost his employment as a result. This however opened up doors for him the world of trade unionism. Not too long after the events in Liverpool, Larkin landed a permanent position with the National Union of Dock Labourers and went on to organize workers across the UK in the fight for workers rights.
His descendants made a fortune in whiskey and, in the first quarter of the 20th century, organised the Ulster Volunteer Force in the struggle against Home Rule in Ireland. James Craig was the first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland and on being elevated to the British peerage took the title Viscount Craigavon. He died in 1940.

Adam John Walsh was born on November 14, 1974, he was 6 years old when he was kidnapped and killed. Adam was abducted from a Sears parking lot on July 27, 1981 in Hollywood, Florida. His severed head was found in a drainage canal off of the Florida turnpike two weeks later by 2 fishermen. Adam’s father, John Walsh, became an advocate for victims of violent crimes and is the host of the television show, America’s Most Wanted. Sir John A. Macdonald was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on January 10, 1815. His fathers name was Hugh Macdonald and his mothers name was Helen Shaw. His father had migrated to Glasgow from the town of Dornach. His father was a very pleasant and easy going guy and he alwasys wanted to make everyhting better but he usually made things worst. He was a man that had lots of friends, he would talk a lot and drink too. His mother came from Spey Vally. His mother was a very smart girl, she was like the opposite of his father. His mother and father got married on 1811, and after 8 years they had 5 children, the eldest child died and after John was the eldest. In Glasgow his fathers business wansn't doing that good and he thought that if they would move to upper Canada they would have a better life there. So finally in 1820 they sailed to upper Canada. John Alexander Macdonald was born in Glasgow, Scotland on January 11, 1815. His family immigrated to Canada (Kingston, Ontario) in 1820, Macdonald was five years old at the time. In 1829 Macdonald ended his schooling, his parents could not afford to send him to university. On February 8, 2017, Artswego hosted a concert starring countertenor Reginald Mobley at Sheldon Hall Ballroom. I gladly attended the concert with an open mind, eager to be introduced to a unique and beautiful genre of music. The artist is a well accomplished musician in the genre of Baroque, Classical, and modern repertoire. Once the concert began, I was instantly moved by his voice.
Antony Micallef is a British artist. He was born in Swindon, United Kingdom and also receieved his Bachelor of Fine Arts there at Plymouth University. After getting his degree in fine arts, Micallef taught himself how to do graphic design. He was taught by John Virtue, who was a landscape painter. But the knowledge about art truly came from Frank Auerbach, who is a post war painter that taught John Virtue. Micallef has had many solo exhibitions throughout the world. These exhibitions took place is London, the USA, Italy, and Bulgaria. And he has been in more than double the amount og group exhibitions in even more countries over the world. He grew up in Coventry, England a city known for its cathedral and its Daumier motor-car factory. When he died “This Be the Verse” was written on his tombstone. Larkin’s father was a bully but his mother was a house wife who was anxious all the time. He lived a much more dramatic life than what he led on to people. Larkin could not escape his house or his parents until he was eighteen and Oxford became his new home. After college at Oxford “Larkin’s life was set” (Margo), he was a librarian. He had met Monica Jones who was the love of his life. Also he was a jazz critic for the Daily Telegraph in the 1960’s and 70’s. As he was a librarian he became a bookish dandy (Margo).
