Islamic Law regarding Neighbors
What is the criterion to determine neighbors?
“Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbors who are near, neighbors who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious.” (Holy Quran 4:36)
Hazrat Hassan (Radi Allahu Anho) defined neighbors as “Forty houses to the left, forty houses to the right, forty houses in front and forty houses behind your house.". So according to the above saying it means at least 40 houses in all direction are considered neighbors. Additionally there are three ranks of neighbors in accordance to the Islamic Law. With highest one first the order goes this way:
1. Muslim Relative
2. Either a Muslim or Relative (Non-Believer)
3. Neither Muslim nor Relative
According to a Hadith, Holy Prophet (PBUH) said“…Gabriel kept on recommending me to treat neighbors kindly and politely so that I thought that Allah would order [me] to make them [my] heirs.” (Sunan Abu Dawood)
Why is Neighborhood vital?
Islam is a religion that teaches us in every matter of life and gives us a perfect moral code. Dealing in a good way with neighbors is also one element, Islam stresses highly upon. Let’s know why in accordance with Islamic Law neighborhood is vital.
• Unity:
Frequent interaction with your neighbors may create a strong bond with people in your town which shall be beneficial for entire society. Like security of your children playing in town, fear in robbers as entire community shall stand as one to catch the robbers and tons of other benefits are attainable if we follow the Islamic Law of unity here.

.... Help could be anything even picking a stone in front of your neighbor’s house would be considered help. While in case a person in your neighbors is ill then you must take extra care of them.
• Socializing:
Your neighbors are not strangers thus communicate with them often and do other activities along with them for instance inviting them to dinner at your place, morning walk with them or going on prayer in mosque with them etc.
After the above explanation it is indeed very much clear that under Islamic Law we have certain obligations towards our neighbors. Our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for us to follow. In the Last Sermon even He (PBUH) greatly emphasized on the importance of neighbors and their respective rights. Let start treating our neighbors nicely and be enlisted among the loved ones of Allah Almighty.

It is not appropriate environment to rebuild the healthy society because the neighborhood level of characteristics affect the individual who lives in. A very good place to start learning with people from your neighbors who are always belong to your daily life such as co-worker, classmates, or boss, who are not living in street or building. They are also your neighbor too and we do not really know everyone who they are specifically and they are also willing to share the experience with other. They are more secure than your neighbor because you can not only easy to access the personal information, but also you can trust someone who is able to communicate in your daily life than who is living nearby your house. Consequently, I disagree with Peter’s ideas which examples and explanation is not proper to making a good social community with neighbor. The neighbor is matter because it is not good environment to trust our neighbor today and may cause many negative impacts with our live or both of us such as emergency situation and social communication, is not we did not try to know the
Living with different kinds of cultures around you is also very knowledgeable to many people. One could learn a lot about someone’s background or country just by interacting or spending some time with them. For example, you can learn about different foods, clothing, fashion, and the kind of lifestyles others might have. Living together helps keeps us in harmony and peace. If we didn’t get along or maybe even share some of the ideas we wouldn’t be such a diverse community. Knowing and underst...
“Those who care for others… live a life , in a divine way, above others” -Anonymous. Even as small children, we are taught to treat others as we would like to be treated, but as we grow older, the world becomes more complex, and the length to which we should stretch ourselves for others becomes unclear. Some people may believe that one must always put others first, while others put other people’s worries and safety far behind their own. Throughout this year I have gathered artifacts, some support these theories, while others do not, and a rew support my own theory. I believe that the most healthy and appropriate way to approach this moral grey area is to always consider other’s needs and feelings, but you must also consider your needs and know
"Neighbor" is here a metaphor for two people who are emotionally close to each other. "Good fences make good neighbors", is a line the author emphasizes by using it two times. The "neighbor" says the line while the main character does not agree with it. He can not see that there is something between them they need to be "walling in or walling out".
Walking down the street you would recognize about every friendly face to be your neighbor. It’s an “everyone knows everyone” type of setting. Everyday you see the same people, same time, going about their usual routine. Parents, knee deep in places they have to run their children, children driving their parents off the walls, all the usual.
receives a restricted reply, You must take reasonable care to avoid acts or omissions which you can reasonably foresee would be likely to injure your neighbour. Who then, in law, is my neighbour?’
Islam had a rule where is someone hits you that gives you the permission to it them back. Also if you kill someone you are deemed for killing all mankind. If you save some one you are deemed for saving all mankind. Also if you kill someone you have to expect as punishment for murder. You shouldn't be jealous of other people's property. The believer that do good work shall be allowed to enter paradise.

The word mosque is defined as a ‘Muslim place of worship’. It is very important in Islam because it is the place where Muslims humbly face their lord, prostrate to him and ask from him.
In this era of social networks a majority comes in touch on daily basis with people originating from around the globe, but only a handful of us truly know our immediate door neighbors. This shows a definite lack of community cohesion and interpersonal contact with beings we frequently see. Existence could be better-off and safer, if at all we had personal and constant relations with the people in close familiarity to us. Deficiency of communications maybe attributed to number of hours typical one spends at work and later at home in front screens. This leaves no time at all to interact with the neighbors. Hostility towards such an effort would also be a hindrance.
