Is College education worth it?
Albert Einstein once said, “The value of college education is not the learning of many facts but training the mind to think”. While keeping that in mind realize the more education you have the smarter you will be. The most education you can get in life is a college education. According to Cbsnews.com “76 percent of freshman were accepted into their No. 1 college.” With the hopes of getting into college, students also fear if they are making the correct choice in life or if college education really worth it.

While doing those things were a make a contribution to society. College graduates tend to have a lower poverty rate rather than those who didn’t go to college. College graduates also tend to be more productive members of society. By improving their self and getting an education while in college, students get to be more productive by being and clubs and teams and become more social. Improving their social skills in their community, which is a contribution to society. While working in college or getting a degree in your workforce means more money and more of a contribution to society versus people with no jobs or an education. Americans with out a job or education puts a financial strain on society while letting taxpayers know the people with a college education is worth it. For example a man who is working a full time job five times out of a week with a college degree is worth more than an unemployed person who didn’t go to college to society. College education is about exploring yourself and your surrounding. According to the University of La Verne “70% of students change their majors at least once, most will change majors at least 3 times before they graduate.” With that being said while going into college you really don’t have a fully understanding of what you to do in life but you soon will realize that change could be a good thing even to the point where you might want to change to a whole different college of change to a whole different major. Whether you choose to change your major or stick with the one you have there is a pay off at the end. Most students think, “How am I going to afford this” or for those people who don’t want students debt. If you have a chance to take advantage of a college education you better!
