Recommended: Correctional personnel roles and functions in public and private prisons

This semester in “Introduction to Criminal Justice” I have learned a vast amount of information that will help me with careers in the criminal justice field. Throughout this class we have been able to see several jobs that are from each area of criminal justice. After this semester I know criminal justice is the degree that I want to stick with. No matter what job I do I will be able to make an impact in someone's life. Reward is better than the salary. When going into criminal justice one must know that they are not going to be making a whole lot of money but making a difference will make it all worth it. Out of the three main areas of criminal justice, I feel I will want to work in corrections. This area would allow me to be able to help
