Children place should be secured place. Because it is a big responsibility for all person who is providing care of them. Anything could happen in anytime. So my suggestion is this centre should put a locker from inside and they need to put a ring bell system front of the main door.
Summarise my overall impression of the setting:
In this centre, their all settings for the school age children are appropriate for their all developmental skills. I think they are trying to meet their philosophy which is fostering and contributing to the child development partnership with parents. as well their mission statement, “Our mandate is to meet the needs of our school families by providing quality age appropriate, interesting, engaging enjoyable activities for the students entrusted to our care on all regular school days and non school weekdays.”
My assignment is a combination of two interviews. I interviewed an Assistant Principal, Ms. Katis Romig, as well as, our Curriculum Director, Mrs. Maria Petkanas. They are both responsible for the curriculum development and instruction for the school where I work, P.S. 811Q. I also learned a fair amount from Ms. Romig and Mrs. Petkanas including that District 75 Citiwide Special Education’s Deputy Superintendent, Ms. Barbara Joseph, had given the school feedback and suggested writing curriculum and textbooks. This was the only feedback she gave our principal during her observation last week.
At Children’s First, our mission is to keep a safe, healthy, prosperous environment for children. Being a part of this community, I know firsthand what it takes to maintain an ideal setting for children to grow. It is essential for the caretakers to communicate, share information, and work together to put the children first. This core goal of ours, along with my own experience, analysis, interviewing, and observation demonstrate that Children’s First Daycare is a discourse community according to Swale’s six characteristics of a discourse community.
P1: To outline why children and young people may need to be looked after away from their families.
The Child Development Center of College of San Mateo provides early care and educational programs for children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old. Children are divided into classrooms with a “master” teacher, a “regular” teacher, and two or three “associate” teachers. Klara attended Classroom, “A,” a stimulating and well-resourced classroom. Klara was observed for two hours on Monday from 9 am to 11 am and for two hours on Wednesday from 9 am to 11 am. During these two hours, classroom activities consisted of “free time,” “story time,” and an outside “play time.” A “master” teacher, a “regular” teacher, and two “associate” teachers were present during observations. Additionally, a total of eighteen children were in attendance during the observed days.
Door and window should kept lock to protect the child from falling out thus coursing severe injury8.
Leadership skills and styles are essential to any career profession and especially in the human services field as it relates to things flowing effectively both internally and externally. According some researchers it is said that leadership skills are determined from a person’s personality traits. Whereas, others may say that becoming a leader is a growing process that is affected by the events and/or issues that may surround them. However, while studying human service and community service organizations we were able to determine their leadership styles based off the information we know about a particular organization by using the Leadership Matrix.

They have failed to appropriately arrange the room and don’t allow enough creative freedom for the children to properly and adequately express themselves. Though this centre has a good foundation for success they still have a lot of work ahead to make it a responsive environment. It is important for the environment to promote healthy learning and inclusiveness for each of the children. Incorporating more play accessories, natural light, pathways, and more private quiet places they would do much better in succeeding in having a responsive

They can be allowed to be used by the communities when school closes or is on holidays. Egbezor (2005) noted that the classrooms are used for adult literacy activities nationwide, for public health activities like immunizations, public enlightenment exercises, in emergency epidemic situations and school building are converted into make shift hospitals. School buildings are also put into use during voting exercises. This will help establish good relationship with the community. School library can equip a room with books that parents can come to read and borrow. The books to be provided should be of interest to the parents such as books on child psychology, married life, current affairs and health care. Community organizations can be allowed to use school hall for social events, meetings, games and festivals. This will make community organizations be concerned with whatever would be happening to the school. School can establish business centres and/or restaurants around the school gate. This will be intended to serve both the school and the neighbouring community. This will always bring the school closer to the community members and they will be most concerned with anything that will affect the
