4.2. What Activities Are Planned?
For the purpose of this intervention proposal, the researcher found activities that should be proposed for future use based upon scaffolding to be more productive and interactive for both the learner and the teacher. For the purpose of this study and then further analyses at the systematic case study level, it was important to examine instances of activities that allowed both the student and the teacher many levels of use and interaction.
For instance, and within the thoughts of the author, activities should not be limited or rely upon one tool of the classroom but rather integrate the actions of the learning. What does this mean? The author sees a connection between interaction with a myriad of tools while presenting content. To simply lecture is not promoting

interaction or collaboration but the author can work from traditional to ICT and back again as a seamless process to display content to the students

This happen through choices in design for the activity. To simply stop at presenting the math problem in English and then only use the IWB as a chalkboard seemed to limit the amount of interaction or participation as some students will seek to provide aid to the student at the blackboard. The teacher can provide the problem, also provide a link within school email to allow the students who are not the whiteboard to complete the problem on his or her tablet or laptop. Some students may even use pencil and paper but the access is the same. Once the problem is presented, allowing the student to emphasise different areas of solutions, to allow them to link to background information for the Web or provide a reasoning for real world application to the math problem is all the more powerful. To then take these math problems and create a cooking recipe based on the

Response to intervention, also known as RTI, is a process to aid students’ progress throughout their academics to the best of their ability. This process tries to address any learning problems or difficulties starting at a younger age. When teachers and parents are able to address any learning problems of the students during the first few years of their education, the students can be provided the best instruction in addition to intervention for their individual needs.
Today we are living in an aggressive world and endeavoring to make an amazing vocation to end up distinctly noticeable piece of our public. Once the profession is steady then to carry on with an upbeat-wedded life would be less demanding in light of the fact that the greater part of the necessities would be secured which require cash. Therefore, we have to complete our studies. To convince you more, On the off chance that you're applying for an employment as a social worker yet don't have a degree in the field, do you think you'd arrive the position over some individual who has their Master’s degree in social work? According to Dr. Heath Allen who stated that, advanced education enhances an individual's personal satisfaction. Considers
Teachers must pay attention to presenting to their students, is very important in their education. If the student finds it too much of challenge there will give up and if it’s too easy there will be bored. An example of teaching strategies is scaffolding strategic support that teachers provide that allows children to complete a task they could not accomplish independently (Vygotsky, 1978; Wood, Bruner, & Ross, 1976). Teacher needs to plan out a task according to the child ability to help they respond and engaged the lesson there increase their independent performance in school. It creates an understanding of English is pronouncing and how to read, both of these skills are important in life. By making these an important part of early child development it reinforces these
PROPOSED INTERVENTION Intervention Proposal for Wheatbelt, Western Australia (WA) case study: Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Program. It is a program that includes an exercise and education program for people suffering from cardiovascular disease (Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association (ACRA), 2011). It provides patient education about how to manage cardiovascular disease, secondary prevention, behaviour changes, and psychological support, medications, exercises, and diet, social and emotional issues. It consists of three phases (ACRA, 2011). • Phase 1: Hospitalisation.
These authentic learning activities are more engaging for the students and allow for a wide range of learning styles. It is imperative that all teachers attempt to integrate these experiences into their classroom as often as possible. These activities usually take more time and energy to plan and implement, but the benefit to the students make the extra work worthwhile.
Initiating an Intervention Many struggle with substance abuse to deal with their everyday stress and life issues. A lot of times they become addicted to numbing difficult emotions and becoming tolerant to its effect over a long time. Some may come to think that alchohol and drugs assist them with dealing with their emotions throughout the day, but scientists have recorded consistently that it actually decreases your body’s effectiveness to process anxiety, depression, anger, and even sleep and digestion as far as everyday functions. While using these substances bring harsh consequences to a person’s health, anyone heavily relying on their addition will seek out reasons to justify their unhealthy habits and deny the reality of how serious their condition is.
Many students view mathematics as a very difficult subject since it does not only focusses on numbers but also in letters. Mathematics does not only require the students to come up with an answer but it also requires them to show the solutions on how they arrived at the answer. While in elementary, students were already taught on how to solve problems in a step-by-step procedure starting with what is asked in the problem, what are the given, make a number sentence or formulate an equation and solve the problem. These procedures are called problem-solving which cannot only apply in mathematics but also in other areas such as in Science, businesses and most
First, understanding that children may have a preferred learning style, she incorporates into her lesson plans the strategies which address visual learners, kinesthetic learners, and audio learners. Most children do not have just one learning style, therefore, they benefit through different learning centers. Learning centers include the science center, the math center, the art center, the library, the writing center, and the dramatic play center. Next, she uses teacher centered strategies to lead many of her lesson plans so that she can guide and coach the children through the activities. Since the children are very young, she feels modeling and coaching the children are the most productive techniques. She does try to create lesson plans that vary in complexity and challenge the children based on their own ability
This means that the field of education is working on integrating technology in the classroom. In the classroom teachers are using smartboards, ipads, google Chromebook, etc… This increase of the use of technology can have a negative effect on the students. One thing that I see in students is that when they are exposed to technology they can become addicted and this leads to students consistently always looking down and missing many social interactions. To be honest I was addicted to my phone and I caught myself always looking down.
Resources are designed to support us as teachers to plan, deliver and assess our teaching and lesson delivery. All the materials and books, a variation and diversification of approaches, resources used for different learning styles, in order to meet the needs of all my students were contributing to the professional development and continuing education. Preparing visual prompts to stimulate, the use of colour in my slides, always helped to stimulate the interest and emphasise the key points in my teaching. However, computer-based technology, provided opportunities to develop ICT skills. Thus, through class sessions and little practice students were developing skills to use it, and create professionally looking and visually stimulating slides. As teachers, we must be willing to encourage our students to become active participants in their learning, creating opportunities to actively engage all
Instead, EL students benefit in learning new content knowledge when an instructor methodically produces a lesson with a systematic I do you do approach; while purposely adding visuals whenever possible. Modeling content knowledge can be accomplished when the instructor writes the objective or provides an outline of what the lesson entails in student friendly vocabulary for each lesson where students can visually see. Next, the instructor should discuss what the end goal of the lesson is through hand gestures and changing the speed and tone of the voice to elaborate key concepts. Additionally, teachers should provide visual vocabulary whenever possible. Playing videos, word walls, or showing pictures of key vocabulary in a lesson will help students who struggle with differences in language grasp what is being asked of them more clearly. Lastly, instructor should show examples of projects and essays for reference. This will allow EL students to visualize the end product; allowing them to organize their ideas and
students prefer technology because they believe that it makes learning more interesting and fun. They especially like laptops and tablets. Subjects that students deem challenging or boring can become more interesting with virtual lessons, through a video, or when using a tablet. Technology occupies an important place within students’ lives. When they are not in school, just about everything that they do is connected in some way to technology. By integrating technology into the classroom, teachers are changing the way they used to teach (lectures six hours a day) and providing students with the tools that will take them into the 21st century. One of the characteristics of the modern classroom is collaboration and technology helps to empower it. With classroom technology students can collaborate with other students and their teachers in and outside of the classroom quickly and easily.
The second step in developing an engaging lesson is to focus on the instructional strategies used to help the students understand the material. It is at this point, the teacher decides what activities they will use to help address the “big ideas” or the “essential questions”.
