Valdivia saluda muy cordialmente, dando gracias a Dios por la salud de Pizarro y dando su pesar por el deceso del Márquez. Relata el profundo dolor que siente por su muerte, aludiendo a que la única forma de olvidar ese dolor es la venganza. Sin embargo, narra que es consuelo saber que murió por servir a la corona. Y que su muerte fue honrada por el ilustre gobernador Vaca De Castro. Según Valdivia, es obligación del servidor, servir a su señor y es un honor por lo que su vida se la dedica a servir. Por otro lado, Valdivia pide a Pizarro ser tutor de los huérfanos del Márquez.
Valdivia, también intenta plasmar lo ocurrido de manera superficial, con respecto a los fracasos y perdidas.
Llegada de Gaspar Orense enviado de Pizarro, al cual Valdivia pone a su mando mil quinientos nativos.
Por honor de Márquez, Valdivia pone a su disposición las tierras conquistadas de Arauco y plantea asumir los errores cometidos ante su señor. Valdivia despacha al capitán Alonso de Monroy como mensajero ante el señor Pizarro.
Llega en un Navío comandado por Juan Baptista, este convertido por Valdivia en teniente general enviado por él a la llamada “ciudad de reyes” Lima, para traer armamento y recursos humanos.

Pedro de Valdivia le envía una carta saludando y recalcando su magnificencia, señalando en principio que no se había comunicado con él hace ya un año y medio, desde la ayuda que le había prestado desde el Perú.

Valdivia y los soldados son atacados en reiteradas ocasiones y fue necesario idear estrategias para no sucumbir ante los ataques de los indios, incluso aquellos con los que ya se comunicaban. Comenzaron a hacerse rondas y guardias de día y noche para cuidar de las casas y las siembras, las armas y herramientas con las que cultivaban las tierras. Posterior a eso y mientras iba en busca de socorro, les mataron los indios a cuatro cristianos, quedando Monroy y otro cristiano a los que tomaron por tres meses presos, donde con un cuchillo que le quitaron a un cristiano de Almagro, mataron a un cacique en medio de más de doscientos indios de los que lograron huir hasta llegar al asilo del Gobernador Vaca de Castro que venia del triunfo contra Almagro, donde hiso gran justicia por la muerte del Marqués, mi señor y capitanes, quieren le otorgaron socorro.

The Carrillo Adobe is in a dire situation. It has not only fallen into disrepair from the many years of weather and use by so many individuals, but by visitors and citizens have been less that kind and considerate of its age and the prominence that it deserves. It is amazing how two people can witness the same event and come away with two distinctively different interpretations of said event. However, the letter from Cortes and the Florentine Codex do exactly this. They both describe the same event, but from different perspectives. Hernan Cortes was a Spanish Conquistador who caused the fall of the Aztec Empire by conquering Tenochtitlan which is now known as the present day Mexico City. He took their leader, Moctezuma, captive that led to a massive riot which ended with a lot of death. Although, the Florentine Codex covers the same event, it has a totally different tone and view of things. While both the letter from Cortes and the Florentine codex discuss the same incident, no one see’s everything
Little is known about Pedro de Cieza de Leon’s youth. Historians have discovered that Pedro de Cieza de Leon was a Spaniard, a conquistador, and a writer of Peru’s history. Pedro de Cieza de Leon was not well educated and had only the most basic education from his local school parish (Atlantis). Although he did not have a superior education, his four part book is reliable because he wrote about what he observed as a conquistador. This document is full of interesting information for the reader to discover the Inca’s way of living.
it is unmistakable that life situations inspired Juan Rulfo to write this story. He like no other person had a greater understanding of how to portray the theme of family especially missing a father as a role model, death, survival and revenge. Moreover, through the use of local Mexican language it furthermore developed the society in which peasants had to live during the post-revolution. Additionally Juan Rulfo tries to add all five senses in the story forming magical realism and a vivid picture that the readers can understand. New institutions were forming and new people and ideas flooded into the new lands freshly claimed for the Spanish Empire. Two remarkable women, radically different from each other, who lived during this period of change are a lenses through which many of the new institutions and changes can be viewed. Digging deeper into a specific man who was part of such a transformation was Juan de Pareja, an African man of his own ways. Why take his example and what did he contribute? El Recado es un cuento de la esperanza y amor. La protagonista viene a visita Martin, pero el no esta en su casa. Entonces ella esperas en peldano, y esperanza que el aparece pronto. Esperanza es una palabra muy importante en el cuento. La palabra es usado directamente tres veces en la obra 26, 31, y 39. Tambien en el principio de el cuento todo es de un afecto sensual. Mientras ella esta en el peldano vea el jardin de Martin. Da caracteristicas humanos (personificacion) a los flores en el jardin ( 6-7), estos caracteristicas como honesto y graves probablamente tambien de su amante. Luego ella hace una comparacion directa entre el y el jardin “Todo el jardin es solido, es como tu, tiene una reciedumbre que inspira confianza.” Este oracion no solamente tiene un simil, pero tambien ayuda en mostrando la comparacion a un mujer de un hombre. El hombre es personificado con palabras de fuerza, mientras todo el cuento muestra una mujer debil.
