I had many questions in my mind about this like - What are nootropics? Does smart drug really work? Is it safe to use them? etc, etc. I cannot say all my questions got answered completely, but I have enough information about it now to decide whether I should try it or not.

The drug which I earlier mentioned "Modafinil", became popular after Harvard and Oxford study proved that this drug has less side effects, the media than termed it as the safest smart drug. This drug is illegal to be sold without prescription in many countries and there are many possible side effects especially, insomnia.
But, but, but, this does not mean that this or any other so called smart drug is safe, why would you want to risk your life for things like this? I won't!
See, most of these drugs are actually manufactured for various mental afflictions and people have just made inappropriate use of it for other possible purposes. It may work well for a while in some cases but I don't think the end result will be that good, just a personal opinion.
If you still are interested in these drugs than I will advise you to read "xx" which has all the names and complete information on these types of drugs.
I don't promote any use of such drugs, so I will never suggest you to try them, what I would suggest you instead is to use some natural methods to make our brain work at optimal levels like by practicing meditation, performing mindfulness exercises, doing visualization
In “Brain Enhancement is Wrong, Right?” the point being conveyed is that using stimulants to enhance performance should not be used because stimulants are unethical. The author intends to reach out to researchers, professors, and college students as the predominant demographic. The usage of drugs to enhance abilities occurs during time when individuals have stressful tasks a head of them. The use of the stimulants depends on when the person needs to focus. Benedict Carey targeted individuals in the academic field because those are the people who are using stimulants to amplify their abilities.

Surprisingly, some people actually take this drug on purpose for the euphoric high that it produces. This practice is also extremely dangerous because in addition to the side effects, the drug can be addictive. This means that the longer you use it, you need to use more and more to reach the same level of “high” and if you stop taking it, you go through withdrawal.
Drugs have been used to aide in sleep for years and years. There are many types of drugs that people use; opting between non-traditional medications such as herbs and vitamins while others opt for the traditional approach in using prescription drugs. ... have any medicinal uses, but so what? A citizen of the United States of a legal age should be able to consume what they choose to. A person should have just as much a right to experiment with even heroin as he or she does to take a shot of vodka. There is the discussion of safety versus freedom, but I believe that too much freedom is being stripped from the people in order to provide, in many cases, a false sense of safety. Many drugs are kept illegal because of the massive amounts made by the completely bogus ‘War on drugs’. Perhaps there currently exists a substance or combination of substances that provides the cure for an ailment, but we wouldn’t know because it is nearly impossible to do any research on these drugs. In conclusion, DMT is a truly unique experience, and those who wish to try it for themselves should be able to do so without legal reprecussions.
... so many people believe that it can have a positive affect on a persons life. Not enough research has been done to disprove that Ecstasy can in fact be a great tool for therapy. The media has caused many to fear Ecstasy with its concentration on the deaths indirectly related to the drug, that it has closed the minds of many to see the type of positive effects it can bring. Before anyone can judge this drug, one should balance the positive effects compared to the negative. Through my research I have seen how many people believe in this drug, and their reasons for it, that it has made me a believer as well.

It has been proven that they are able to extend psychotherapy’s view of the human mind, they are able to promote massive personality changes, and to enhance the learning and problem solving experience. Healthy individuals use them solely to improve their memory, motivation and attention, without any prior consult with their doctors. Many of these drugs are available on the Internet which comes in handy to young people who want to save their money for the future. What they do not take into consideration when buying stimulants on the Internet is the risk of not knowing for certain what they are getting. Moreover, long-term consequences and safety of the technologies are not known. Scientists haven’t done enough research to know how much of an impact even a short period of using such substances leaves on our brains.
