I choose this experiment because I am a hunter and having an accurate rifle is a good thing. In hunting the first shot counts. Now here is my data I got from the experiment but first a little history on the guns the .234 is a small hunting rifle use on deer and other small game. The .270 is a med. game rifle for deer and up to small elk. The 30-.06 is a large game rifle for elk and up to moose. My problem is the I wont to find out what is the most accurate rifle is. My hypothesis is if three rifles are tested for accusey then what is the most accurate the .270 is the most accurate rifle because a lot of people think the .270 is the most accurate rifle so I am going to test it. So I some research on my experiment I look to be one of the first one to do this

experiment. Most people gust tested one rifle not three rifles. My independent variable was the size of the guns it wene up and up from the .234,.270,30-.06. My dependent variable is the accusey of the rifles over distance I Measure in cm.
I did not change the distance of the target I ceped them an 15,30,45 yards. Some of the materials I use are 10 targets, three rifles of different sizes,10 bullets for the rifles,3 boxes, ruler, tape measure. Me materials are Start by getting three rifles of different sizes, set up three targets at 15,30,45 yards, Shoot the first rifle three times at each of the three targets, repeat with second caliber rifle, Repeat with third caliber rifle, Measure in centimeters the distance from the bullseye to the bullet holes on each target. I metered the cm form the center of the target. I shot all of my rifle at the targets at 15,30,45 yards then meserde the distance of the target. It happened because I shot the targets. if three rifles are tested for accusey then what is the most accurate the .270 is the most accurate rifle because a lot of people think the .270 is the most accurate rifle so I am going to test it. My data sports my hypothesis by showing that the .270 is the most accurate rifle. One problem it could help solve is for the police/SWAT in that they believe their snipers are good, but one drawback is over-penetration that is a problem in hostage situations. to go on the internet and recerche

Possible sources of error in this experiment include the inaccuracy of measurements, as correct measurements are vital for the experiment.
Left, right, Liberal, Conservative, Democratic, Republican. There are a lot of synonyms for the sides of our nation divided. Divided on many things: religion, political views, morals, etc.. For a nation that prides ourselves on extraordinary security and unity, it is quite ironic that so many issues can cause such distress and uproar within communities. One such issue is gun control. As a white male in a middle-lower class family that has never owned a gun, I may be somewhat biased. Objectively as I can, I am going to report the facts and more importantly, try to find the core issues at play.
“Guns don’t kill, people kill people.” This is a popular saying heard in a number of R rated movies where gun violence is the predominate theme. One excellent illustration can be seen in the movie Romeo Must Die when the actor DMX said that phase as he was getting ready to shoot someone. The phase was first coined by Wayne LaPierre who is a long-time executive director of the National Rifle Association. From his words and from his job title, a person can correctly guess that he is a pro-gun activist. He is defending the notion that a gun is not required to kill someone. This is absolutely true. A person can kill another person with just their bare hands. However, guns provide people with the means to do so in an easier and faster manner. Without

America—the land of the free and the home of the brave. Not only are these words sung in the national anthem, but they can even be considered a motto for the country. In the US, residents and citizens have many rights that people in other countries can only dream about. They have the right to practice freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and many other freedoms thanks to the founding fathers and the United States Constitution. But there are some very controversial rights as well. What about the second amendment – the right to bear arms? While America is considered one of the freest countries in the world, we might ask ourselves: is it too free? Although the right to bear arms is a constitutional right, the safety of the nation is far more important. America should use Australia as a model when it comes to gun laws. Stricter, more extensive background checks, requiring permits and training, and the prohibition of automatic and semi-automatic guns must be enforced in order to help lower crime rates and ensure American citizen’s safety.
Crime and guns. The two seem to go hand in hand with one another. But are the two really associated? Do guns necessarily lead to crime? And if so do laws placing restrictions on firearm ownership and use stop the crime or protect the citizens? These are the questions many citizens and lawmakers are asking themselves when setting about to create gun control laws. The debate over gun control, however, is nothing new. In 1924, Presidential Candidate, Robert La Follete said, “our choice is not merely to support or oppose gun control but to decide who can own which guns under what conditions.” Clearly this debate still goes on today and is the very reason for the formation of gun control laws.
The research our experiment was founded on was that carried out by Taylor and Faust (1952). They carried out an experiment on 105 student’s, which was designed in the method of the game ‘twenty questions’. The students were split into teams of one member, two members and four members. They were then told that the experimenter would keep an object in mind whether it is animal vegetable or mineral was also stated, and they were then allowed 20 questions and guesses to reveal the identity of the object. In there experiment they found that the group of two members performed better than the group of four members in terms of how many guesses and questions it took them and how long it took them to deduce the identity of the object. However Taylor and Faust found that the efficiency did not differ in any significant way.
Gun control is an awfully big issue in the United States today. Many people in America don’t agree with the gun control laws that they have today. Gun control laws only take guns and freedom away from law-abiding citizens. Many citizens have their own reasons for owning a gun. Why would the government want to make it harder for people to own a gun? People that own guns aren’t very likely to be attacked by criminals. Owning a handgun is one of the best ways of protection when used correctly. The second amendment states “the right to bear arms”; does this grant everyone the right to own a gun? Gun control laws have not been proven to do anything for citizens. Gun control laws just make it harder for the good guy average Joe to own a gun. Gun control laws are not a good idea, and are taking part in the loss of our freedom that was given to us.
“The invention of gunpowder as a means of hurling a projectile brought about a whole new era, not only in the development of weapons but also to all of history. Man had been on earth almost 1 million years before he made this discovery During that time physical strength had been the basis of power. The strongest man could hurl a spear the farthest and the hardest, bend the most powerful bow, and deal the heaviest strokes with his sword or ax. This gave him mastery in battle and control of his fellow men. With the coming of firearms, size and strength lost their importance. A small man with a gun was just as powerful as a big one (Peterson 9).”
I have decided to research gunpowder as my topic for the 2016 National History Day Project. My teacher and I has discussed about the topics in class. Such topics are The Columbian Exchange, the voyage of Christopher Columbus, potatoes, and corns. While those topics are not related to gunpowder, my teacher gave me a head start in thinking some of the other topics. The final topic I had thought about it is gunpowder. The reason why I chose gunpowder is because it changed the world significantly. Instead of open charging with swords, spears, and javelins, gunpowder has bring new units and weapons to the battlefield. For example, infantry, cannons, artillery, and later airplanes and tanks are brought onto the battlefield because of gunpowder. Walls
Guns are common items that have been used in war; they are also used for sport and home defense. The Second Amendment gives all Americans the right to bear arms; although in recent times the Amendment has created controversy as to whether all Americans should be allowed buy and own guns. Another issue involving guns, is should there be a limit on what type of guns the general public can buy. The type of rifle that has caused many of the arguments is the assault rifle. Here is a brief history on the assault rifle; “The assault rifle is a class of weapon that emerged in the middle of the last century to meet the needs of combat soldiers on the modern battlefield, where the level of violence had reached such heights that an entirely new way of fighting had emerged, one for which the existing weapons were a poor match” ( Shurkin, 1). Assault rifles are popular weapons used in many armies and militias around the world,
The first record of guns being used dates back to 1364. Over the last 653 years guns have changed drastically. Bigger firepower, fully automatic modifications, bigger magazines, red dot sights, bump stocks, silencers. All of these modifications can make an AR-15 more boisterous to shoot, but at the same time more deadly. The newfangled issue with guns is not necessarily guns itself, but the easy access people have to get a hold of guns and using them to kill innocent lives. America, specifically radical left wings, are too quick to blame the firearm for the violence. An AR-15 or any firearm is absolutely feckless until it is picked up, made ready and fired. So how could one simply think to ban guns? What America needs is to not take away firearms, but arm more citizens. Take this for an example, can you count on police officers being by your side 24/7 protecting you in cases of an active shooter or any random acts of terror? Or do you think it would be a good idea to get a concealed carry licence, some tactical firearm training and actually be able to protect yourself as well as others from
Gun safety is a subject that has been a main topic in the past few years among many, especially within politics. It is something that has become a substantial topic in the past few years due to many shootings and accidents that have occurred with today’s youth. It is a topic that needs to be addressed.
When almost everyone has a gun the people who are criminals who have gun’s will be kept in check, But if they don't have it gun the Law Abiding Citizen maybe attacked by the criminal will still have a gun anyway. In “ a 2007 report shows for every 100 people there 89 guns in the US” 270 million people have guns in the U.S and 323.1 million people live in the U.S. People often say that the founding fathers did not describe the Second Amendment as people today do. They said that founding fathers could not imagine the power of today's firearms but I believe this is false I believe that over 250 year the founding fathers would realize that the Firepower of guns would change drastically maybe even more than it has. I do not believe that the
