Welcome to the future! When Google released the self driving car,it had everyone in awe. A robotic car that could move on its own was really mind blowing. Now ,look at this,if you thought that the self driving car was so amazing, which it was,how about a flying car! Google co founder,Mr Larry Page owns not one but two secret flying car companies;Zee aero and Kitty Hawk. Zee aero is the company that has fully taken on the flying car project while Kitty Hawk is a smaller set up to double the chances of achieving success. Mr Page has been funding Zee Aero since its inception in 2010 and he has spent 100 million dollars on these two project startups. Various inventors have also attempted to build flying cars over the years. Among these inventors care Terrafugia TF X and Aeromobil's flying car, and at least its good to know that in 5 to10 years,the flying car should be available for the public to buy. Come to think of it,the idea of the flying car was not conceived today. As far back as 1927,an engineer named Alexander Weygers had an idea similar to that of the flying car,he wanted to invent a flying saucer that could carry people and fly at rooftop level, he referred to it as the "discopter" but the thing was that in 1945 when he received permission to carry on with the project,nothing was done. Da Vinci proposed the idea of a machine that had bird like flying capabilities. Today no ornithopters exist due to the restrictions of humans, and that the ornithopters just aren’t practical. During the eighteenth century a philosopher named Sir George Cayley had practical ideas of modern aircraft. Cayley never really designed any workable aircraft, but had many incredible ideas such as lift, thrust, and rigid wings to provide for lift. In the late nineteenth century the progress of aircraft picks up. Several designers such as Henson and Langley, both paved the way for the early 1900’s aircraft design. Two of the most important people in history of flight were the Wright Brothers. The future of passenger aircraft and their manufactures has an amazing outlook. Every year the brightest minds in aviation compile the greatest technological advances towards creating the safest and most economical aircraft on the planet. No detail is over looked, and the bottom dollar is the all controlling factor. From private aircraft to public aircraft, space exploration and beyond, the future is bright for the passenger aircraft market, and everyone who purchases air travel should be excited to see how industry unfolds.
There are many inventions of the future that people either know or hope will happen and some inventions that people have never thought that would happen in this or the next lifetime. For instance, one piece of future technology that I believe may come to pass is the invention of flying cars. Since the time of being young and watching the Jetsons, many people have been waiting to see the first flying car. While bringing up the idea of a flying car to a lot of people would seem absurd or downright impossible to some, I actually believe that it is very much so possible to create given how far technology has come in the past few decades. I think that it is a very logical conclusion to assume that at some point in the future engineers, car makers, and others will start to pursue other alternatives to avoiding traffic jams and other problems on the road, and instead begin to examine the possibilities of taking to the air as an alternative solution. There is much talk about it over the internet and many people would like to try flying cars. While it would greatly improve traffic for those that prefer staying on the ground, it may prove dangerous in the beginning because of accidents in the air with other cars, planes, trees, and buildings. Some would say though, that the convenience would outweigh the risks because there would not be traffic jams, or detours because of road work. These cars would need something like a GPS system and an anti-wrecking system so people would not run into each other or other objects (How Flying Cars Will Work).

The creative minds of the world began to come out, and, finally, the world met a breakthrough. In Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, an alarming invention would change the way humans transport, forever. In 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright had succeeded in a lifelong adventure of creating a flying machine.

The experiment for the first plane consisted of taking a man and placing him in the plane and then having the plane raise by its own power, in result this would cause it to fly in a natural manner at even speeds and then defending without any damage (Bellis). The craft they created was called a biplane. A biplane, an aircraft of early design, consists of two sets of wings placed at different levels in a vertical stack with the fuselage(the body of an airplane, containing the cockpit, passenger seating, and cargo) between them. Also the first airplane soared at a height of ten feet and went one hundred twenty feet and touched back down after fifty nine seconds in the air (Bellis). Today theres 1,568 commercial airlines and 23,844 aircrafts in commercial service (Fact Sheet:
