With numerous famous one-liners, such as “I’ll be back” in The Terminator, or “Get to the choppa!” in Predator, Arnold Schwarzenegger has made himself one of the biggest influences in modern entertainment. However, entertainment is not the only field that Schwarzenegger has prevailed in. Other fields that Arnold has made a name for himself in are bodybuilding and politics. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s rough childhood and strict determination led him to become one of the greatest bodybuilders and actors of all time. He gained more attention seven years later when he starred in a documentary about bodybuilding called Pumping Iron. After Hercules in New York, a movie that did awful at the box office, Arnold did not want to embarass himself again on the big screen (Contemporary Theatre, Film and Television). Schwarzenegger has written many books, most of them being about bodybuilding. He has also written an autobiography entitled Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story. In 1990, President George H. W. Bush named Arnold Schwarzenegger the head of his Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. During his time as the chairman of that council, Arnold wrote several books, many of them targeted towards children, encouraging them to play to stay in shape (Contemporary Authors Online). Schwarzenegger has also followed a passion for real estate in his hometown of Los Angeles, California. In fact, Arnold initially became a millionaire from his real estate investments, not his movies. He first purchased a building for $100 thousand, and tripled his money on that. After that, he continued to purchase and sell more and more expensive buildings, such as apartment buildings and office buildings (CNBC).
