Influencer Perhaps one of the most crucial elements of the W.E Care for Kids social media campaign is their use of influencers. Influencers on social media are individuals who have established credibility and a reputation in a certain subject matter among an appropriate audience. These influencers have established a substantial following and therefore have access to a large audience that a brand or organization can use to get their goal or services familiarized or acknowledged. In this particular campaign, W.E Care for Kids will be utilizing an array of influencers. Ellen DeGeneres is media personality well known for her television show "The Ellen Show". Ellen has been able to win the hearts of people all over the world through her charismatic and humorous personality. She has created a platform that showcases and encourages humanitarian action and philanthropy. Ellen supports and has participated in a magnitude of charities and worthy causes all over the world. Ellen would undoubtedly be a great fit in this social media campaign because she does not limit her support to global charities/organizations, or to famous individuals. She is known for supporting a wide-scoped amount of charities and many of them having to do with the wellbeing of children. The overarching goal of Ellen DeGeneres being an influencer in this campaign is to inspire the community of Windsor-Essex County to follow by her example and to act on their own merit and make Essex County a better place by enhancing the well-being of children in the community.
