It has been considered in a number of studies on boarding schools related to Government policy. The joining of boarding schools by Indians in America was challengeable for the Government. Currently, most of the American Indian children join public schools however there is still the influence of the Government that emphasized on federal policies to continue the boarding school system established since late 1800. Sherman Indian High School is one of the famous Riverside school calif, and the supervisor of this school was highly conserved and instructed the students to clean the toilets in the early time of getting up and if students could not follow these instructions then supervisor through the means of punishments on students. In this act, the budget and expenses were discussed for the construction of buildings of schools where the children of American Indians can get their education. The act also covered the issues of parents who refused to supply the food to their children and did regret to enrol their children in Boarding schools. In this act, it was administered that children must be enrolled and live in the Boarding Schools. Most of the American Indian families were hidden by the government agencies that enforced them to enrol their children in Boarding Schools. She described that pain of a mother for their children can never be compensated through any other way. The strong evidence has been revealed in this story that how author’s life reflect the meaning of pain in childhood (upenn.edu, 1921).
The challenges of life initiated in childhood life and most of the American Indian parents who provided the experience of boarding schools to their children face a number of social issues. The struggle of American Indians in achieving the status of life in which they can enjoy their family life equal to Americans or white people is the drastic event of their lives (sagchip.org, 2011).
American Indian children were highly influenced by the Boarding School authorities in religious practices as Christians, Roman Catholic and Protestants. Children were conserved and teachings were delivered in the means that their beliefs and culture is wrong. The criticism of their language was also highly incredible.
