I'm an advisor in the international council of education presenting some important points that could help to improve the education In Chile, informing this to the current president of this country, Michelle Bachelet, with the intention of talking about concrete proposals to increase the quality of the education.
The recovery of democracy in Chile brought with it the implementation of public policies that would help revert the situation practiced in the period of the dictatorship where it existed an important reduction in the financial plan for the educational sector, which generated a decline and deterioration in this field; impacts were visible since the nineties until today.
At the beginning of the government of the President Patricio Aylwin, the educational system was critical, and the quality of education was really poor. Therefore they implemented the programs to improve the situation of schools mainly in the basic levels.
Due to the slow progress of the educational system after a lot of years, students and academics mobilized to express their inconformity with the market model imposed and the factors that keep stopping the development in education after the military dictatorship left it behind. As a result we can see one of the most expensive higher educations in the world, one of the most segregated in terms of socio- economic and the most dependent of being financed by the families of students, which have led to a situation of indebtedness for the middle class and popular sectors.

Money which is given to the grant of these establishments could be used for better pay for teachers , increased student materials , better infrastructure and many more things that could be of benefit of these children who deserve equal opportunities in its studies because it is mandatory and has to be fair for everyone .

Introduction The exponential growth of gangs in the Northern Triangle countries (Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras) has led to an epidemic of violence across the region. The two largest and most formidable gangs in the Northern Triangle, the Mara Salvatrucha-13 (MS-13) and the Barrio 18, wage battles against one another to control territory and defend against incursions. In 2011, Honduras led the world in homicides, with 91.6 per 100,000 people; rates were also alarmingly high in El Salvador and Guatemala, at 69.1 and 38.5 per 100,000 people, respectively. In El Salvador, a country with a population of only 6.2 million people, 4,354 were the victims of homicide in 2011 alone, with the Catholic Church estimating that more than 1,300 of these deaths were the direct result of gang violence. To counteract the growth of the gang phenomenon, during the 2000s the Northern Triangle countries favored a mano dura (iron fist) approach to dealing with the increasing belligerence of gangs.

Many people believe that “having an economy that places a greater value on skills and education is a good thing” and that is the thing that is needed to improve people’s lives and futures (Baicker, Lazear). If what our economy is trying to do a good thing they why are so many students still suffering? The main issues are the low-income education that many students have. Many schools are getting money from the government but that is not enough to pay for everything students need. Educational standards have continued to increase throughout the years but that does not help the students who are unable to pay for the better education.
