Improve Education In Chile

I'm an advisor in the international council of education presenting some important points that could help to improve the education In Chile, informing this to the current president of this country, Michelle Bachelet, with the intention of talking about concrete proposals to increase the quality of the education.
The recovery of democracy in Chile brought with it the implementation of public policies that would help revert the situation practiced in the period of the dictatorship where it existed an important reduction in the financial plan for the educational sector, which generated a decline and deterioration in this field; impacts were visible since the nineties until today.
At the beginning of the government of the President Patricio Aylwin, the educational system was critical, and the quality of education was really poor. Therefore they implemented the programs to improve the situation of schools mainly in the basic levels.
Due to the slow progress of the educational system after a lot of years, students and academics mobilized to express their inconformity with the market model imposed and the factors that keep stopping the development in education after the military dictatorship left it behind. As a result we can see one of the most expensive higher educations in the world, one of the most segregated in terms of socio- economic and the most dependent of being financed by the families of students, which have led to a situation of indebtedness for the middle class and popular sectors.
People believed that the expansion of subsidized schools would bring an improvement to the Chilean education, but the opposite happened since the privatization of education was taken as a big business, and that’s because the payment of the par...

...ave less and is increasing social injustice that I already mentioned. Educational reform and its investment policy could be sheltering economic profit, more spending, same results .Education reform is prey to a neoliberal economic system, through the Constitutional Act of Teaching.
Money which is given to the grant of these establishments could be used for better pay for teachers , increased student materials , better infrastructure and many more things that could be of benefit of these children who deserve equal opportunities in its studies because it is mandatory and has to be fair for everyone .
Also the main idea is to ensure the quality of the education , and for that , the policy recommendation is to create a public agency intended to set standards and evaluation mechanisms to identify and support local deficit or if it’s necessary to punish it.
