It started with colors. When my family decided on repainting the house, I noticed how change in one color changed the outlook and feel of an area. So, the observation started with color and my exploration began. I always had interest in organizing, decorating, and changing the looks of an area. Be it the area as small as my closet or as large as my entire house. This interest never had indicated me to become a professional in it. Because organizing few things is not considered as a skill, but an essential part of a lifestyle these days. Hence, I thought this “tweaking“ of few things was not an extraordinary talent. And it always remained in the background while the main focus in my career was advancing in the field of IT industry, which the masses had declared as successful.
And accordingly, I graduated with Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Science and I started working as a software engineer in Sapient Technologies. Meanwhile, I had an opportunity to help my friend move into a new house and help them design and decorate their house. This move rekindled my interest in...

He was able to gain experience in this because he learned to code from FRC. Now Christian will be studying for Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. Finally Rhiannon Hayes was able to decide on a career path because of her strong involvement on the business plan.
Now that I’m more grown, I have more of an appreciation for art. I identify more by it. I
Interior Design is recognized as a stressful career due to the demanding clients and deadlines established. Commercial or contract designers tend to have higher stress levels than residential designers because commercial designers have strict deadlines to meet since their clients are companies or corporations. To manage stress levels, all designers must possess certain skills. They must be able to manage time, communicate fully and effectively with the clients, apply their creativity to projects, and make decisions. By learning and applying these skills to their work life, Interior Designers will be able to lower their stress levels and be more successful. Since Interior Design is such a client-collaborative career, a variety of skills including time management, communication, decision making, and creativity, are needed to be successful in the field.
Many people get confused or intimidated at the idea of hiring a residential interior designer, they think it will cost too much money or that the process will take too long. An interior designer’s job description is to bring each home comfort and functionality. Interior design is an art and science of enhancing the interiors of a space or building, used to create a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the user. The space should not only look amazing, but it should also be a reflection of the client’s personality. The space should function within the way that the client lives their lives. The process of hiring an interior designer is simpler than most people think. Finding the right interior designer that fits the clients
Growing up, I was always the more creative one of my siblings. I always liked drawing and I was always one of the better artists in my class. I also always enjoyed math as I excelled throughout math classes during my schooling. My mom went to school for architecture and I would always go through her different drafts and make my own. My mom told me everyday that I had a knack for it and that I should pursue that as a career one day. I also liked to be a leader and as I went to a smaller school in my elementary years, I was able to be a class leader. I then was accepted into Purdue University as an OLS major. I have put some thought into it and now think this is what I really want to do one day after I graduate is become a Project Manager for an Architecture Firm.
Everything that I do has an artistic side to it, whether it be looking at a picture on the Internet or seeing a cookie dish. I look at what it took to make and how could I possible recreate it. Every time I go into a store I go straight for the home decor section to see if there is a pot that I want to recreate or a painting that I want to create. I have a large passion for art that will never go away and can only be tamed by learning more and sharing my knowledge about art. Art is the only way that I show my creativity and is the only way I can express myself, which is why I feel it is the best career for me.
This perfectly holds true for me in the world of Computer Engineering where novel ideas are not a novelty. It is this novelty that entices me to this field and gives me a deep sense of professional pride. In this context, I would like to pursue my graduation in Computer Engineering, which not only supplements the knowledge that I possess but also provides a strong platform for my future career goals.
Interior design is one of the most important professions. When thinking of design and architecture industry, it is necessary to keep in mind that the professionals emphasis on matters of everyday life when commencing a project. Important sectors of interior design consist of: residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education and corporate designs. Thus, the field deals with numerous factors and affects almost everyone in some way. Design is goal-oriented– it strives to achieve a certain purpose. An essential goal of interior design is to create functional spaces that convey a specific mood for an audience using design elements, thus outlining a design for communities versus individuals.
My work is primarily based on the idea of pattern, layering, movement, and the boundaries of space. The combination of a planned design, mixed with a chaotic harmony of lines, circles, swirls and patterns. My work took a sudden change from my previous theme I had been focusing on for weeks, in which I was exploring architecture and the overlapping layering of beams and line. I became frustrated in trying to simplify such a complex and chaotic subject matter and out of this mental dissatisfaction in my work made a radical decision to change my theme and work with an idea I enjoy and could expand on more confidently.
Many artists say that they were born to do art, that it was always in their blood and that they cannot remember a time that art was not a part of their lives. For me, this was exactly the opposite. I was always trying to do my best in science and mathematics and art was not even on my radar until I was a freshman in high school where I met my first inspiration for art, Zack Smithey. I was lucky enough to have Mr. Smithey as a guide for the start of my art career all four years in high school and he really pushed me to develop my portrait work. He helped me develop the foundation of my artwork, but at that point I was merely duplicating what I was seen and really had not developed an aesthetic of my own. For me, art was a challenge for me to
Life for the past 21 years has thought me to practice and appreciate the art of learning. I question myself looking at every electronic gadget on “how is it made?” and “how does it work?” thus instigating an insatiable hunger inside me. This fascination for electronic gadgets prompted me to choose Computer Engineering as the major for my Bachelor’s Degree. On the academic front, my teachers were the main guiding force in identifying my penchant for mathematics and science and harnessed it to lay a strong foundation.
Since graduating I have worked on a diverse range of creative projects, some of which were acquired though Go Wales (University Careers) and the WCVA (National Voluntary Sector Agency), while others were self sort enabling me to utilise and expand on my creative, organisational and software skills. As a designer, I have assisted on a variety of publications and marketing materials for organisations such as Age Concern and Cardiff University Careers Service, furnishing me with practical design and software experience and improving my written and verbal communication skills as well as providing me with an insight into working with different types of clients.
When I noticed that there were computer courses I got joyous, since I knew that I’ll be able to learn about something that I loved, although it turned out that I had to wait until my Sophomore year and take a class before I start the more advanced classes. When the first two years were over, I was finally able to get a computer class that I like, and although I didn’t learn much under programming, it did learn how to use programs more efficiently. While learning about computers in class, in my free time I was also learning, as I’ve done before. I was reading into networks, how the internet works, and after a while, I then began trying to understand Linux and C work. As high school passed, I realized that I should also try to do something with what I’m learning since it’s one thing knowing something, and another to actually implement it. Therefore, I made it my lifetime goal to work with technology, and be under a project that would benefit people’s lives in any
Being well acknowledged about the above saying has pushed me a mile further for every aspect of my life. The four year engineering course in Information Technology has always been a beautiful experience and has inspired me to put the knowledge into my Masters degree. This would allow me to enhance my knowledge about technology and its pros and cons and the guidance I would need. Gone are those days when man had to slog for simple works, he has advanced into boundaries which are unimaginable and has made his life easy, being an essential part of such an advancement has always been my motive. To attain my goal, my first priority would be in the field of research which will consist experiencing the applications in the real world steered by comprehensive know-how about technology. Technology has prevailed and casted its spell to parts unknown and now has been imbibed into man.
