Influential product – Chroma Key Introduction There have been plenty of developments in the film industry throughout the years, each trying to bring something new every time. One innovation in the field of film post-production was Chroma Keying, an influential product that made adding special effects to movies considerably easier. Chroma Key Chroma Key, also called Chroma Keying, Color Keying, Color Selection Overlay or, more commonly, green screen and blue screen, is a very innovative tool for special effects used in the post-production of a movie. Product innovation is the most important kind and is referring to “developments of new products and services”. Process innovation represents “changes in the production processes of products which, in principle, should lead to more efficient production”.
