I remember everything like if it was yesterday. It was a feeling I could never explain. It was the weirdest thing that had ever happened to me, or to anyone. That day was also the best, exciting, fun but also sad. I’ve never experience anything like it. I woke up because of the loud, creepy, scratchy noise I heard. A noise you only hear when an ancient truck is passing by. This was weird here, in Beverly Hills. I got up, and put my pink robe on I needed to know what was happening outside. I couldn’t believe what was in my sight. It was a huge, oval, metallic thing. For me to look like an enormous satellite, but as soon as I had that thought I remembered of a TV show of an alien who lived in this cool spaceship. This thing looked like a spaceship. Suddenly, a weird person came out. It looked human except it was turquoise not a peach color. The creature started to walk towards me. I got scared and started to run in circles. What could I do? There was no one at home just me. My parents had gone to a business party. Then I had an idea, but I knew it wouldn’t work. I couldn’t call the police because they’ll think I’m insane. I decided to stop. When the creature stopped in front of me it introduced itself. This thing could talk! “Hi, my name is Reneesme and I’m from Neptune I came to Earth to make friends.” My eyes were wide open, I couldn’t believe it. It would be rude to not introduce myself too. “Hi I’m Alice, but isn’t Neptune freezing cold?” I asked confused. Then she answered, “Well, we people from Neptune have a mechanical chip in our brains, so we can adjust ourselves to any weather.” I looked at her like she was speaking Japanese. “Don’t you have friends in Neptune?” I asked to stop the silence. “My father... ... middle of paper ... ... huge change I made. Rosalie was happy when Renesmee came I think she was the one who applauded the loudest. “I’m happy that you won Renesmee!” I screamed. “Thank you for helping me this is a dream come true.” She started to cry. “Your welcome but is time for me to leave.” My eyes were getting watery. “Ok. Let’s go now.” She suggested. I was happy that overall Rename and Rosalie were now friends. Rename and Rosalie took me home. “We’ll come back soon” They said whispered together. “I hope so and thank you for this adventure.” I said yawning. I was really tired I had to go to sleep. Suddenly I heard I crack I jumped out of my bed. It was my parents, but how was I in my bed already? This wasn’t a dream. I was sure of that everything was so vivid. I walked to my window and saw a bright glow in the sky. “This wasn’t a dream,” I whispered to myself.
... I felt better, knowing that I had mentioned this. Mrs X had an uneventful recovery, she was calm,
Lizzie and her mother appeared to be in a good mood when the QP arrived for the session.
Ernest Hemingway portrays many of his views through the characters in his stories. Hemingway has found a way to deliver many different themes in his writing. He includes personal experiences, thoughts and opinions to convey his way of thinking to the reader. Hemingway's writing can be interpreted in many ways, but as countless readers have observed, Ernest Hemingway is a sexist. Hemingway is viewed as a sexist because of the way he writes about women. His writing makes the reader believe that Hemingway has a strong dislike for women. Both "Hills like White Elephants" by Ernest Hemingway and "A Clean Well-Lighted Place" represent Hemingway's view on male's dominance over women and that women are the cause of men's misery.
It was sunny and 85 degrees. It was the life. I soon saw my grandparents and ran to them. We drove back to the resort, and went to our room. It was the biggest room I've ever stayed in. My Mom, Dad, Sister, and I stayed in a room, My cousins and Aunt and Uncle stayed in a room, and my grandparents stayed in a room.
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
At that instant, your mother just briefly touched upon a vast, unimaginable world, which would seem almost alien to ours.
I was a little happy she wouldn’t be around much anymore. Rulanie moved across the state to make sure that wouldn’t happen again. We are still in touch though. We became really good friends after that, she wasn’t just a best friend.
Neptune, New Jersey. Obviously named for the Roman god, Neptune. Located exactly 40.212438°N and 74.054017°W. The town’s quite large, and there’s tons of places you can go. But since moving here, I’ve only gotten familiar with places that I can walk to with my dog, Chewie. With a plastic bag in one hand, and his leash in the other, we walk around my neighborhood and explore together.
This day held an a very memorable event in my life that I will never forget. All the excitement and anxiety I felt this day will not be
Just as we drifted off we heard banging outside of my door, already my brother crawls up into a ball and into the corner, as my dad open the door a steuerwert was outside and throw life jackets.
I remember it as clear as day. It had been a fairly normal week, and a routine average day. It was a Friday and I was driving home from school in my trusty Toyota Tercel. I was getting into the dreaded mental set of the game that I would be playing in that night. I had to play in the band at halftime and it was the first performance of the season. The whole ride to my house I thought about the game and hoped and prayed that we wouldn't make huge fools of ourselves. Before I knew it, I was already home. I remember thinking that it felt like the shortest drive ever, getting to beautiful Rolling Oaks. When I got home, little did I know, that there would be a huge surprise waiting for me that would change my life forever.
I had this feeling that someone was watching me. I creaked my head back just a tiny bit and I saw this little yellow creature flying. I quickly turned my head away. Whatever was watching me was obviously evil.
“Nice to meet you Suns God. Sorry for this misunderstanding we just got lost in the huge city of Palenque, then we fell down in a hole and I don't know how we ended up here.” I said ashamed.
One calm morning I was sleeping like a baby. All of the sudden some loud, obnoxious noise wants to be rude and wake me up. I look out my window and see this giant metal thing, but I don't care and go back to sleep. As I try to go back to sleep all I hear is my neighbors screaming for their lives. So I stick my head out my window and yell at them to shut up. After I did that I hear someone banging on my door, so I get up and if it's my neighbors I'm ready to start swinging. I open the door and something weird walks in.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers’ license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
