Your simply amazing novel, Ida B has made a new chapter in my life. Sometimes things change for the better, and everything happens for a reason. Your book Ida B has taught me how to deal with change. Sometimes you can't make things better, and you just have to accept it. There are many valuable lessons you can take from your book. At first, I didn't understand what the message was. The main idea wasn't clear, but when I got to the ending it all made sense. Your book taught me how to take all of the awful things and make something amazing out of it. Ida B and her father did the same thing with the apple orchard. I remember when I first read Ida B in sixth grade. I was looking for a book that I could relate to. I was having a rough year, and I turned to one of my friend's favorite books, Ida B. What I believed was going to be just another book turned out to be something that would forever change my life. Your book has inspired me to take action and be thankful for what I have. I decided to become a better person because of you. I am not living in fear of what people think of me but instead what I think of me. I am a better friend, sister, and daughter now. I felt anxious, happy, and even concerned at some points. The part that I can relate to hit me the most. When Ida B found out that she couldn’t be homeschooled anymore and needed to go to a public school. The problem was she liked doing what she always had done. I had gone to a private school all of my life up until now. The school only went to sixth grade, and I was so nervous to switch schools.
