I am a sophmore at Gaston Early College High School who strives to be successful. Who strives to get to the top of the mountain and live there. This school is best for me because I will get to knock out two years of college, and get an Associate’s Degree, all while in high school. The opportunity is different… definitely not your usual high school. I was picked because they felt they needed someone like me to help build their body of students, well at least I believe that. I am confident in just about every way. I am a strong believer in being unique and inspiring. I realized that even more in high school, for an example; I thought I knew for sure who I was in middle school… I was wrong. I am much more than that.

With this knowledge from college, my skills would be better and more professional if a college opportunity was offered. I want to go out-of-state, but my parents would rather me stay in-state. If I was able to go to a college not in North Carolina, I would go to: UCLA, California State, or AADA. They are schools that I seek for most because they focus more on Performing Arts and Theatre, which is right up my alley. If I absolutely have to stay in-state, which would hopefully be my last resort, I would want to go to UNC or University of Chapel Hill. Staying in-state would be my last resort, because I think being in California or New York or Atlanta would bring me closer to my dream. Those places to me are where all the action happens… and thats exactly where I wanna be, in the middle of action. I have one goal: live up to my desired careers and dreams after college the right
