I’m surprised that I have not become afraid to commit,
Simply because falling for someone can be hardest,
And I am convinced that most my life,
Cupid shot random targets.
So out of the fear of another misplaced arrow,
My insecurities linger in the back of my head,
But with you it's different,
You seem to have fallen for them instead.
But I stop,
Before I accidentally let her in,
Stuck in a place that's less than love but more than just friends,
You see I’m afraid...
To lose you and yet it’s so soon,
Afraid of getting so used to you that every text that comes to my phone..
I’m hoping its you.
But with you it’s different,
Because lately, Ive been having this problem of breathing and I believe it has to do a lot with your presence.

You show me that i'm worth a lot more than I am,
And I still think you’re crazy,
But every second seems to be more amazing than the last,
And I'm hoping I can become the co-star in your cast.
I also hope I find myself in your eyes, because every time I see you I seem to get lost in them.
So if you could write me a love note, using my loose leaf lips as your paper,
Let the ink come from your heart so I can know exactly where your words are coming from,
And write it in that language of love that seems to have been mistranslated throughout time,
Attach it with directions to your heart that not even mapquest could find,
And seal it with your kiss.
Maybe your problems could disappear like magic, if you just let me in and we could recycle the word “love” long enough to find every definition of forever till its tattooed to the bottom of our lips,
And every time we’d kiss we would be able to fill the entire room with whatever’s left crawling within our inside,
