To have a dream is something we all have, work for, and strive for. I found the “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King to be more compelling because it affects people more in the sense that it was more recent and it talks about how we all deserve the same rights. Consequently, the fact that it talks about how African Americans have been given less justice is the absolute truth. An allusion is given f a check and bank, the African Americans were given a bad check while caucasian people were given good checks. No matter how hard the African Americans tried, they were always given bad funds ( King 1968 paragraph 3&4).
