Greetings today I would like to tell come you all to my dear friends 13 at wedding anniversary. Because of my golden privilege of being blessed with over 10 years of friendship with (names) has a lot of advantages. One of them is to have the opportunity to raise a toast for our special friends on their 30th anniversary. I am delighted that everyone my friends hold close to their hearts are able to join us today. I know that it is really fun to say that the older we get the more we realize how fortunate we are to be a part of this wonderful couples life, and what a privilege it’s being to have friends like you both in the 10 years of our friendship I have never experienced these two lovely persons displaying any negative attitude to each other
Good evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you to this joyous and stressful occasion.
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - I must admit, I am more nervous about participating in this wedding than I was as the groom (bridegroom) at my own wedding. Maybe it's because I have been married thirty years and I know what my son is getting himself in to!
Thank you for your indulgence. Without further delay I'l1 ask you to join me in a toast to my beautiful daughter, the bride, and her handsome husband, the groom. The bride and groom.
I think you'll all agree the bridesmaids both look lovely today in their dresses and I know the bride wants me to thank them for the help they have provided, not only today but in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. I would like to propose a toast. Ladies and gentlemen, the bridesmaids. I'm sure a number of the guys here today have been the best man at a wedding before, but I wonder how many of you have ever received written guidelines from the bride to be. I would like to read you an e-mail that the bride sent me prior to the wedding.
Could you please stand now and join me in a toast to the bride’s parents for this special day. Thank you.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I'm Neal, the bride's brother. On behalf of my mother, Mrs. Lian White, I wish to thank you all for coming to celebrate this special occasion with us. We are so happy that so many of our friends and relatives are able to come here to enjoy this splendid occasion with us.
Thank you for that welcome, I haven’t had applause like that since Frank’s bachelor party in Angels lap dancing club!
Well, good afternoon everyone, for those of you that don?t know me my name is Lee and I?m Janie?s dad, and in keeping with tradition, it is my honor and privilege to deliver the ?Father of the Bride Speech?. Having to make this speech is one of the few opportunities in a married man?s life when he is allowed to do all of the talking...and I intend to make the most of it.
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Firstly on behalf of the bridesmaids, I would like to thank the groom for his kind words, and may I also say that they have done a fantastic job today and all of them look absolutely beautiful.
I would like to start by saying what a pleasure it is to welcome, on this very happy occasion all relatives and friends of both families. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank especially my wife for not only being tolerant but more importantly an outstanding mother and the guiding influence in the upbringing of our daughter, culminating in today's celebrations.
Finally, on behalf of the bride and groom I would like to thank everyone for sharing their special day, it is a true millstone - sorry milestone in their lives. On behalf of myself I wish you'd all stayed at home - as things would have been a lot easier on me. I started planning this speech about 5 months ago and I expect you all feel like I've been delivering it equally as long. But now it gives me immense pleasure (not to mention relief) to invite you to all stand and raise your glasses in a toast to John and Angie. To love, laughter and happily ever after. To John and Angie CONGRATULATIONS
Distinguished guests, those of dubious distinction and those of no distinction, family, relatives, in-laws and outlaws, young and old, friends, friends of friends, freeloaders and hangers-on – let me extend a warm welcome to Meradith and Naren’s wedding reception celebration.
Mom, thank you for dealing with me and not giving up on me. Most times I’m not the nicest daughter to be around by you still love me and try to help me become calm. You have always believed in me and supported me through everything. I can always tell you anything and you almost never judge me. I love you, mommy. Will you please help me light this candle?
Good evening guests, teachers, faculty, family, and most importantly good evening students. We have all gathered here tonight to celebrate one very important and exciting event in our lives where our career at SJJ ends… and the future starts.
We are all here today to celebrate your life, Howard James Stalker, son, brother, husband, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, son in law, brother in law, godfather, best friend, friend and colleague. Words can’t describe our love for you, we are going to shed a tear because you have gone but we are also going to smile because you have lived. For us you were the greatest man that ever lived, you were our example, inspiration, role model and the best life teacher we could ever want. Your ambition and tenacity, helped you conquer your world, you achieved your goals and dreams, and gave us the best life possible. It’s so inspiring to think how driven you were, to accomplish those dreams that never stayed as dreams, to travel as far, work in many places, to meet many people
