Mom, thank you for dealing with me and not giving up on me. Most times I’m not the nicest daughter to be around by you still love me and try to help me become calm. You have always believed in me and supported me through everything. I can always tell you anything and you almost never judge me. I love you, mommy. Will you please help me light this candle?
Dad, thank you for always believing in me through softball, field hockey, cheerleading and school projects and homework. I can always have a laugh and a good time with you. You have helped me with many things and made me feel like I wasn’t the only person on earth. I love you, Daddy. Will you please help me light this candle?

May the love you express to each other today, always be the first thoughts during any trying times in the future.
I’m glad we have Maurice, my mother’s younger brother here today. Ella, her older sister, unfortunately couldn’t make it, but I know the news of my mothers death hit her hard. And I know that she prayed with all her will, for my mother.
“After my youth and manhood, passed half in unutterable misery and half in dreary solitude, I have for the first time found what I can truly love – I have found you. You are my sympathy- my better self - my good angel – I am bound to you with a strong attachment. I think you good, gifted, lovely: a fervent, a solemn passion is conceived in my heart; it leans to you, draws you to my centre
You have always been there for me and helped me though good times and bad especially in my younger days.
"Taylor, even though I met you this year, I feel like we've known each other for the longest time. You are that girl everyone wants to have as a friend, the girl that is always ready for any type of adventure. You are the friend most people want to be friends with forever, and I'm glad you are mine. I will NEVER forget every roast you've given me, and the endless talks we've had about life. You light up the room with your smile and make people cry with your beautiful voice. You are the definition of "real friendship" and you've brought so much love and happiness to my life and I thank God everyday for now, but now you're with God, probably roasting him, and laughing with him, and I will definitely miss that. I love you friend, Rest In Peace " ~ Jackie
I want to say, you were the best father in the world. You devoted your life to me. I never forget that my graduation evening, what you did for me! You took me to a bar from the restaurant and you were happier than me that night. You had a party with other people at the bar, and I drove to home. When I parked the car, you said me “Keep driving to end of the block”. When I asked Why! you said “Just go”. You gave me old model Ford and said “You will need it to go to college”. I was very happy that time and my eyes were tearing over and I was very happy. Even you did not forget to test the brakes, the turn signals, and the radio. At the time, I wanted you to hug and how much I appreciated all that you did for me. I really want to say “thank you” again.
When I looked at you, I had nothing but honor and respect towards you. You were always someone who I could look up to and come to for advice when I needed someone to talk to. You looked at me as a grand-daughter and I saw you as a grandfather. I was just getting ready to come see you celebrate my first baseball win as the lead pitcher when my mother got the call. When she told me you passed away, I couldn’t breathe. I just stood there numb and in shock. I didn’t want to believe it. When it finally sank in, the tears were pouring down my face. I couldn’t control them. I felt like I just had my heart ripped out of my chest. Losing you was the most devastating experience I ever had. I was only 12 years old and never experienced a loss of a loved
You came into my life and changed me forever. Over the years people have complimented me for being a good mother but I can't take credit for that. You were born good and you were the one who was often teaching me. I believe you are an angel God sent to teach me. You taught me love. You taught me honesty. You taught me how to forgive and how to be strong. You are the strongest person I have ever known and you gave me strength when I was weak. When times were sad and tough I looked to you for strength. You taught me how to be myself. Most of all you taught me about life and how to live.
Betty Lou is right -- Our achievements of the past four years have been an honor. And so I offer my congratulations to each of you for achieving the honor that comes with high school graduation. Up to this point, high school may be the most exciting and difficult experience of our lives. We've enjoyed the carefree and happy times with WWF-style pep assemblies, dances, Junior T-P nights, and classes with friends. We've had our bad days too, though. The days when we forgot our semester project for C.I. at home, or when we couldn't stop falling asleep and Mr. Gnome made us get up to "open a window." But far worse were the times when we felt alone. We've all had days of personal crisis when we've felt rejected by those around us or alienated from them. Hopefully, we were fortunate enough to have had a friend come rescue us from isolation, but perhaps not.
During those brief minutes, with the glow of the candle, I felt a connection not only with my family but also my family in narewka,to my favorite grandfather, and his happier days, 75. Despite all odds a young boy who has endured a lot and has to deal and put up with whatever he receives and never complains instead little thing like these make him feel happy and blessed also make him feel more connected to his other family members so far away from him
Good evening parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and friends. I would like to thank you all for coming to this very special day. I know how proud you must be. As we have grown over the years, there are many stages we all have gone through. From learning our shapes and colors, to getting our first kiss in middle school, or how about explaining to our parents why we skipped school because the principal called home. As we remember these days, things that we've done will be with us forever. But this is only the start of our journey. The day has come where we say goodbye to the big yellow buses, assemblies, assigned seating, and attendance policies. Are you really gonna miss it? For some of us maybe not right away. But eventually we will so for us to be here it is not necessarily an achievement, but a privilege. All of us have been in school over half our lives. To graduate is one more step we've taken in our lives.
You are the only person that has never doubted me. You always say I have so much potential in me that I never use. Now, I finally get to start fresh and use the all potential that you always said I had. I only said no to college soccer because I want to be successful as you. I admire your intelligence and your showing of an ambitious determination to achieve your goals. You probably understand me the most and I can always count on you to listen to me without criticism or judgement. You are the greatest mentor in my life. You have taught me everything about life. I am so thankful for that.
Until the time doctor declared that we are not in good condition I know we made you worried and cried. And now it has been four years, we are celebrating the father's day same day you become a father. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you, I appreciate every little and big things you have done to us. Sorry for we always make you worried. I'm so proud of you, not only
It has been one year since you asked me to be your girlfriend and what a year it has been. We’ve had highs and lows, adventures and mishaps, and I loved every second of it. I have recently been thinking about where I was a year ago and how different my life has been because of you. A year ago, I had never been on a date, I had never kissed a boy, and I had never been in love. Three hundred and sixty-five days later, I have experienced all three. You have brought light to my dark days.
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
