How the Trailer for The World Is Not Enough Makes Viewers Want to Watch the Film James Bond films have always been popular, but producers still need to draw in new viewers. They do this in a variety of ways but the trailers are always the most important. In this essay I will be analysing the key points that make a successful trailer. In this Bond film, James must battle against Renerd, a man who feel physical pain due to a bullet in his head, when he decides to sabotage the construction of the new King pipeline, an oil line that can give oil to the world for the future. He must also protect Elektra, King's daughter and heir, after Robert king has been killed. As with all Bond films there is a love interest (or two!), high speed chases, lots of action and Bond succeeding after being captured and escaping. In trailer starts with a High Angle Shot of a helicopter flying over the King pipeline. This shot emphasis the speed of this film. Next we see Renerd firing a machine gun across open land, this helps to highlight the action and danger in this film. The voiceover is introducing the film, ' The world's most wanted terrorist has a new target…' the voiceover is a hard, tough American voice in keeping with the film. In this sequence the director is introducing the themes of the film. These themes are action, sex and danger. He then goes on to show an exploding pipeline, action and a hologram of Renerd. The hologram of Renerd shows James reaching into the hologram into where the bullet is. While he is doing this M is telling him why Renerd is so dangerous. An image of the world on fire and Renerd's head flashes up next. This is telling people want will happen if Renerd was to succeed. Voiceover 'So who in the world can stop him?' encouraging audience participation and questioning them. I think these factors make people want to watch the film. The question is answered with pictures rather than words a 007 logo
In the movie trailer for Holes you can generally see the three rhetorical devices, which make the trailer effective. These are fairly noticeable in the movie trailer, some more so than others. While the message they are getting across is quite obvious, the speaker aspect of it is not quite as obvious. The speaker in the trailer uses an enthusiastic voice to show the audience, which is generally young kids or people who like mystery, that it is a movie with plenty of excitement. While they go through it the speaker gets more enthusiastic, and the music for the trailer also becomes more upbeat. The speaker also mentions that the movie is based off of an award-winning book, most likely because it might broaden the age group for the audience.
Educational systems in America are impaired, and the very educators that are meant to teach are the one’s pulling it down. That is the apparent message that Davis Guggenheim attempts to convey in his documentary “Waiting for Superman”. He uses many strategies to get his message across. Some of these include cartoons, children, and those reformers that are attempting to pull the system out of the ditch that it has found its way into. He makes his point very well, and uses facts and figures correctly. He does leave out some of the opinions of the opposing views, but it does not take away from his point that the educational system in America is in need of repair.

The Dream Girls film is a wonderful musical drama, yet merely watching the movie does not deliver the impact that ‘seeing’ the movie can. Evaluating elements of their construction and bringing together an effective message. While watching a movie is good, being able to critique film assists you to not just watch but to ‘see’ the movie; because it makes messages clearer, it inhibits social interaction, and it brings deeper understanding of a movie. In this critical analysis I will show the reasons that the elements of film making are critical in receiving the story or message being conveyed.
The short film did not have a lot of space for storytelling or narrating the story, therefore, it was a good idea to rely on the audience to understand its narrative.

Even though there is a great amount of audience participation, one really has to turn your attention to the actors in the movie. It takes a special kind of person to really understand the movie they are in.
In this essay I will analyse the film trailer for Disney’s ‘The. Incredibles’ and comment upon how it appeals to the target audience. Teaser trailers are effective because they whet the audience ’s. appetite and introduce us to some of the characters they also give us. an idea of the genre and keep the audience in suspense.
In his essay, “It’s Just a Movie: A Teaching Essay for Introductory Media Classes”, Greg M. Smith argues that analyzing a film does not ruin, but enhances a movie-viewing experience; he supports his argument with supporting evidence. He addresses the careful planning required for movies. Messages are not meant to be telegrams. Audiences read into movies to understand basic plotlines. Viewers should examine works rather than society’s explanations. Each piece contributes to Smith’s argument, movies are worth scrutinizing.

Since the creation of films, their main goal was to appeal to mass audiences. However, once, the viewer looks past the appearance of films, the viewer realizes that the all-important purpose of films is to serve as a bridge connecting countries, cultures, and languages. This is because if you compare any two films that are from a foreign country or spoken in another language, there is the possibility of a connection between the two because of the fact that they have a universal understanding or interpretation. This is true for the French New Wave films Contempt and Breathless directed by Jean-Luc Godard, and contemporary Indian films Earth and Water directed by Deepa Mehta. All four films portray an individual’s role in society, using sound and editing.
