Times Have Changed Today times have changed because of the improvement of technology. There was a time when there was no technology. A time were phones were unheard of and not around. Technology such as phones, television and laptops. Technology has change the course of history. The way civilization has communicated has also improved. Like for instance, People don’t have to put a letter in a bottle and send it down a river to communicate with someone across the world. There were times when technology didn’t exist. Ancient times when all they had was a stone tablet. The tablets were used for communication. There were symbols that the Egyptians carved into the clay tablets to send a message. Cuneiform script which was invented by the Sumerians. Cuneiform is most famous for its wedge-shaped marks on clay tablets. These marks are made by blunt reeds called stylus. A stylus is a pen without the ink. A lot of devices have change the way communication is done. Television is a form of communication where a person can watch what is happening or what someone is saying. “Electronic television was first successfully demonstrated in San Francisco on Sept. 7, 1927. The system was designed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth, a 21-year-old inventor who had lived in a house without electricity until he was 14.
