Everyone wants to have a good looking body and lifestyle. You want it, I want it, your neighbor wants it. Well, I only want it during summer, but that's another story. But having a good looking body requires a lot of dedication. The fitness journey from plump to lean is scattered with obstacles. Unfortunately, most of the time, these obstacles are emotional, and not physical. Sure, you might get injured from time to time, but nothing's more important than having the emotional stability to carry through. One of the biggest mistakes I've seen, and I'm sure you've done this as well, is looking at social media for validation. The likes, retweets and pins you receive shouldn't be looked at like a form of validation. You're worth tenfold more than the number of likes you receive on your photos. It's time you let go of some of these publications. They're not healthy. Think of celebrity gossip, scandal media and other related publications as empty foods. Empty foods have a negative impact on your fitness goals, and as such, scandal media has a negative impact on your emotional stability. It's time to offer yourself some alone time, instead of spending your time looking for gossip. With social media's advancement in the past decade, it's very easy now to connect with other people. For the most of us, our Facebook friends are probably not even our friends. Some of them are friends of friends, some of them are acquaintances, and some of them we don't know where they came from. You know what I'm talking about! You may think gossip is meaningless, but most of the time it's not. And it's hurting you and those around you. It's time to leave this unhealthy habit behind, and think more about spreading kindness and knowledge, rather than hate and
