The American Dream is the ability to achieve anything you put your mind to, and no one is more important or different than another. The American Dream has been altered throughout the years to fit certain standards. It has evolved tremendously, since America is changing everyday and there are studies that show the American dream has been changed to fit certain standards. People adjust to what is around them, so if things are changing, people are going to change also. Many teenagers today feel that they are not able to achieve success, but we learn that if there is a will, there's a way. “The media disparages the “American Dream” based on the ability to buy a home, minimum wages, or healthcare costs. This is entirely wrong” (Lance Roberts). Someone doesn't have to have a huge amount of money or the best house to achieve the American dream. I think over time people have started to make their own definitions and become accustomed to that instead of one set in stone definition that only a handful of people can achieve. I think in today's society, social media plays a huge role in the definition of the American dream. It influences people's thoughts and feelings because of how other people portray their lives. The American Dream, is about becoming something, to the best way to achieve fulfillment of ones life. The dream is and always has been a reality. The more that Americans and immigrants insist on the dream as a right, and pursue it with determination, the more likely it will be to remain a live option accessible to all. The dream does not originate from America; it derives from us, the people. If we exert all our efforts, we at any moment in American history are more likely to be what the country had intended to become. With that predicament already visible, every advance we make may very well lead to another, and every realization of the American Dream will evolve.

Daniella Nicole adds that “in years past, chasing the American Dream meant the sky was the limit. . .” (1).
The American Dream is a dream that no matter what race you or what social class you are born in you are still able to achieve it no matter what. Many believe that the American Dream doesn't exist and that you cannot achieve the American Dream, however they are wrong. America provides access to the American Dream because people who make sacrifices are able to become successful, people are able to become closer to God, and people are able to get a better education.

Most of us use technology in every aspect of our lives whether we are at work, school, or relaxing at home in our free time. Now most of us could not imagine returning to a time in which technology was not so readily available. Most of us expect to have access to information at a moment’s notice.
