Over the years, global warming has gradually become a more renowned and controversial topic, some say Global warming has been incited by human activity, so humans should take action to slow down global warming, others say global warming happens naturally so there is no use of stopping it, while some others don’t even know Global Warming is happening. Many groups of people within different nations have different opinions of global warming correspondingly having various way of buffering the situation. The aim of my essay is to research and learn about the attitudes and actions of different nations about global warming, whilst giving knowledge to others to be aware of Global Warming and use innovative ideas to soften the intense situation Global …show more content…
Also Australia’s coastal areas are always really populated by tourism because of the exquisitely blue sea and the Great Barrier Reef. However, seeing that global warming can kill a lot of the Great Barrier Reefs, they would attract less tourists and may have an economic recession due to the loss of tourists, causing another crisis for Australia. Due to the extremely hot temperatures and more attention on Australia’s coral reefs by the media, more and more Australians are aware of the dangers global warming and are willing to take action. To find a solution to the potential dangers of global warming, the government has set up lots of funds and reducing its carbon emissions. Bolivia is one more smaller country that has been quite vulnerable to global warming due to their poor economic state and living standards. Since most of Bolivia’s water come from glaciers, due to global warming they have a lack of water supplies, also they have less food security, with more and more natural disasters and an increase in forest fires. Logically, Bolivia should …show more content…
Almost in every survey, they mentioned how horrible global warming is and they understand what impact they are going to have. Yet, only a few has actually done action to stop global warming. For example one of my acquaintances have said that “I know how destructive global warming can be. But I don’t care. They say if we can act as one we can stop it, but it doesn’t work and I just hope it doesn’t happen on me”. She may seem as a bad example, but what she said was the voices of millions of people. Based on many famous surveys most people do believe that global warming is happening. However when it asked for the actions they have done to stop or slow down global warming, a lot of them were quite trivial. Many environmentalists have stated that if everyone can do trivial matter (like closing the lights when they go) global warming will be alleviated, yet whether if there’s still time is another
In addition to lowering greenhouse gas levels and using cleaner energy sources, there are things we can do as people to stop climate change. We could reduce our use of electricity at our homes by turning off the lights when we leave the room, turning down/up the heating/ac when it is unnecessary, and using less water. Also, we could install solar panels in our homes and donate money to environmental protection agencies. Hopefully, the people of our world will soon realize climate change is a pressing issue that must be solved as soon as
Nowadays climate change is the biggest problem of the human being. It is already happening and represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet. Climate change, also known as global warming is the seasonal change for a long geological period of time in the world that is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity, altering the composition of the global atmosphere. Australia faces significant environmental and economic impacts from climate change across a number of sectors, including water security, agriculture, coastal communities, and infrastructure.
The media-crazed threat of global warming has made this topic a very popular and, according to the media, a very serious global issue too. I’m not going to deny Global Warming, but I feel that as humans, we have only contributed very little to the emission of greenhouse gases, etc. Global Warming is a natural phenomenon, and should be dealt with accordingly: A coat when it’s cold, a t-shirt when it’s warm.
Climate change has the potential to devastate millions in Australia. Rising temperatures will impact the landscape of Australia by decreasing Australia's forests. Australia is going to have to spend billions of dollars to make sure their safety from climate change. The people in Australia will need to be strong and flexible to make it through this tough time they're going through, and Australia will have to find a way to fix this problem before it's too late. Climate change is something that will affect the entire world and it's not an issue to take lightly. Australia’s solutions are not simple at all and in order for them to work everyone will have to work together. Climate change in Australia will impact the environment, the economy, and the lives of Australians, an example of a solution is to cut down on carbon emissions.
The climate on the Earth is changing. Ice age is interleaved with the global warming. In the present age, the temperature of the Earth's climate system continue rapidly increase and it leads to global warming. Global warming is the process of gradual growth of average annual temperature of the atmosphere of the Earth and World ocean. The average temperature on the Earth was increased by 0.6C. There are various reasons of global warming, such as human activities, natural events, increasing of gases, such as carbon dioxide in atmosphere and solar activity (Global warming). Nearly 200 countries have signed Kyoto Protocol and they must reduce four greenhouse gases, in order to struggle with global warming. There are several perspectives about effects of global warming on environment. In this essay will be considered the impacts and consequences of global warming . In the process, it will be clarified that there are positive and negative impacts of global warming.
The problem is that, once global warming is something that most people can feel in
Background and Audience Relevance: There are always conversations about our planet. We see our earths glaciers melting, weather temperature rising, and pollution affecting our resources. But for some reasons we tend to look away. We should be more aware of this potential event and I’m here to inform everyone about what actually is global warming and the effects of it.
...empts at doing our part. But what is really needed is change at national and global levels. Only by convincing leaders to create laws that improve our energy policy, and pushing companies to adopt sustainable business practices on a global level, can we see real change. (EDF - Environmental Defense Fund , 2015) We need laws, polices, and infringes…..etc. whatever it takes in order to get our CO2 emissions under control. There are plenty of ways to improve on the current state of global warming like limiting global warming pollution, utilizing renewable energy, drive smarter vehicles, or even drive less. However small the action any change in our normal day to day can still help tremendously especially when done by a large number of people. We have to remember that this is the only planet we have and global warming is a global issue that needs to be taken seriously.
Hello everyone! Today I will be speaking about global warming but before I begin, how many of you believe that global warming exists and that the human population is the primary cause of global warming? I ask this because there are people who believe that global warming does not exist or that it’s “a hoax created by China”. But that’s not true and global warming is in fact one of the biggest problems facing the world today. There is a significant amount of negative effects for the environment and for all living beings due to global warming. And maybe some of you are not be interested in global warming, but the truth is, global warming is a big part of our world and it affects each and every one of us.
In recent years global warming has been on the rise. The importance of this issue is so that we as a nation can be aware of the drastic changes which are occurring rapidly around the world. Although there isn 't one set resolution to solve climate change, we must continue to carry out ways to put it to a halt. Some of the ways I believe we can cut this crisis is to stop polluting the manufacturing of toxic gases which is filling our environment with smog. If we all put our ideas and opinions in ways to prevent some causes of climate change, the world in which we live will be a better place. Instead of being a part of the problem we can be a part of the solution. Opposed to just humans, animals, and other species are affected as a result of
The South West of Australia is experiencing the effect of climate change much like the rest of the world, climate change is a change in global or regional climate patterns. Factors such as GHG emissions and pollution are contributing to the change in the climate and result in changes of environmental factors such as rainfall and temperature.
The controversial subject of global warming according to a large amount of scientists is not a prominent concern. Over 31,000 scientists have signed on to a petition saying humans aren't causing global warming. More than 1000 scientists signed on to another report saying there is no global warming at all. There are tens of thousands of well-educated, mainstream scientists who do not agree that global warming is occurring at all. If so many scientists believe it is not a concern then why should we think any different? Well, a consensus shows that in reality 97% of all climate scientists agree that global warming is an issue and that it is most likely due to ...
While this may contain some truth, most believe that the causes of aerosol, fossil fuels, and the greenhouse effect are the reasons for global warming. These causes can easily be reduced if we take the time and effort to halt the action. Simple actions can be made that will not have a severe effect on our everyday lives. Al Gore once said, "The good news is, we have everything we need now to respond to the challenge of global warming. " We have all the technologies we need, more are being developed but we should not wait, we cannot wait, we must not wait.”
Global Warming is a condition caused by greenhouse gases and human activities. The increased concentration of greenhouse gases due to activities such as deforestation and fossil fuel burning is causing the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans to warm up. As a result of this, global warming has some serious effects in the shape of extreme weather, species extinctions, and rising sea levels. These effects can contribute to the changes that are taking place all over the world, most of which are dangerous enough to pose a threat to the survival of life on Earth in the future.
One of the most substantial problems in the world today is global warming. This gradual warming of the earth is in occurrence at an extremely slow rate but it is happening. Many scientists believe that as human’s work and release greenhouse gases into the earth’s atmosphere, it can become dangerous for the long lasting life of humans and our environment. “Unless we take immediate action, the impacts of global warming will continue to intensify, grow ever more costly and damaging, and increasingly affect the entire planet - including you, your community, and your family” (“Global Warming Impacts”). Everyone should be knowledgeable about global warming and the dangers that it brings to our planet. This essay will examine
