When we look out long enough, you’ll see the seasons change. Our very planet’s climate is changing, too, but in ways.? We can’t really see but we can feel. B. Background and Audience Relevance: There are always conversations about our planet. We see our earths glaciers melting, weather temperature rising, and pollution affecting our resources. But for some reasons we tend to look away. We should be more aware of this potential event and I’m here to inform everyone about what actually is global warming and the effects of it. C. Speaker Credibility: Has anyone seen the Documentary film called “An Inconvenient Truth”? I was amazed at how the earth was rapidly changing for the worse. This is why I choose this topic, to learn more about climate changes and inform everyone here about the climate change. D. Thesis: Learning about the Climate Change will help us better understand pollution in the world. E. Preview of Main Points: First of all, I will share with you what the film “Inconvenient truth” is all about. Secondly, I will discuss why people ignore the big picture and how we can help our planet. II. Main Point 1: To everyone global warming is when the earth is getting warmer. But why is the temperature in our planet increasing? Subpoint A: Not long ago, a documentary film called “An Inconvenient truth” came out in 2006. This film raised international public awareness of climate change and reenergizing the environmental movement. Also using water efficiently, we can preserve our water and with preserving water we preserve energy that reduces greenhouse gas pollution. We can always refer back to our grade school motto for the environment, which is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle which is very essential to our environment. V. Conclusion A. Restate Thesis: It is important to know our earth is at a high level of risk of pollution and growing changes through global warming. B. Review Main Points: To recap, I introduced the documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth” which introduced the awareness about global warming, and also explain what global warming is and how we can reduce the process. C. Closer: I hope everyone realizes our climate change and can help slow down the process. We can all take action today, small steps add up, if we all do our parts in cleaning up our planet.
