Throughout History many people such as Benito Mussolini have made a major impact on many important events. Although not all of them made positive impacts, many effected the world in a tragic way, people such as Adolf Hitler will be forever remembered in history for horrific acts he did. Likewise, Benito did not impact history in a positive light either, he casted a dark shadow over many things he took part of. He was a passionate socialist, heavily into military, and was a follower of Hitler. When Benito was a child he was continually kicked out of school for his behavior such as, bullying and going against authorities. As he grew older not much changed, he eventually got a teaching certificate and became a school teacher for a short period of time. His behavior carried over even as an older mature man, when Mussolini moved to Switzerland to promote socialism, where he engaged in many political activities, he caught the eye of the Swiss authorities and in the end was expelled from Switzerland. He then returned to Italy and continued to promote socialism, he was imprisoned for a short amount of time and when he was released he became editor of the newspaper named Avanti, which helped him immensely in promoting socialism. Once he returned to England he resumed right where he left off in his political status. Mussolini was in charge of creating the Fascist Party, “which is the movement proclaimed opposition to social class discrimination and supported national sentiments, hoping to raise Italy to its levels of its great Roman pasts” and harshly criticized the Italian government for the Treaty of Versailles.
