It was November first, 1946, in toronto, where the first game of the nba was played. The toronto huskies were hosting the New York Knickerbocker at maple leaf garden. The score was 68-66. But back then they were in an low-scoring basketball era, and with only 13 basic rules to follow. Also there wasn't an 24 shot clock to watch out for, plus if you were bigger than the biggest husky in the team you got in for free. Which is six feet and eight inches. Not even that but they could barely dunk it like modern nba. They had unlimited time to shoot. Talking about shooting, they couldn't even shoot the ball. their jump shot was a radical notion.
