Automobiles have taken over all of the roads in modern day America. However, it really has been a little under 100 years that they began to take off in American culture. Automobiles changed everything during the late 1920’s, making the strongest impact and obsession for everyone.
The assembly line made the fast production of automobiles possible to be made and sold for the company. Before the assembly line workers had hard times finishing the task in time and took longer to produce and business weren't selling much. The purpose of the assembly line was used to produce faster and every worker had a job to do which made the production of automobiles faster to make and sell, Henry Ford started using the assembly line method, cars started to produce faster and sold faster and the Ford business started growing and selling cars at a faster rate. Henry Ford was a successful business men on selling cars and finding ways to produce more of his cars and perfecting the method of the assembly line, the first car Ford has ever manufacture was the Model T, The Model T was the car that made a huge impact on civilization. The Model T was not run by steam or electric engine but motor engine because, Henry Ford believe that cars would run properly with motor power than steam and electric and it was a better way to travel by. Ford manufacture over 2,000,000 automobiles per year and cars like the Model T where sold cheap so people would by more of his automobiles.
