Lying is never acceptable because it can hurt people sometimes in the end or it can ruin your relationship with someone. It can ruin your relationship with someone by having that person feel like your not a good person for not telling the truth about something or someone. You can hurt someone by making them get in trouble or get called things for not telling the truth about something and then they get upset with you for it.

First, we should always tell the truth to someone especially if they deserve it. I got this information by a article called “Rejecting all lies: Immanuel Kant “ by Sissela Bok. She did a interview on a person named Immanuel Kant and asked him what he thought about lying. He is the one that said that people should tell the truth especially if someone deserves it. I got this from an article called “Brad Blanton: Honestly, tell the truth” by Barbara Ballinger. She interviewed a man named Brad Blanton, that is where she got all of her information about lying from. He is the one that said that you should just tell the truth because if you don’t you can only hold onto that lie for so long then you can snap and get into a lot of trouble for just shut down completely. Your brain can end up making you feel really trapped inside. To me that meant so much to me because I think just about the same was as him and also I can’t really lie (You can tell when I lie). I think the worst thing you can do is lie just like he does because you just snap after a while and I think the faster you get in trouble for something you did as much as your mind might be telling you at that moment to lie, it ends faster than then lying because the lying will just keep going on and on but if you tell the truth it only goes on for so long then yeah you get in trouble but at least you don’t have to hold it all in for so
