On this article response assignment, the focus will be on a fourteen year old girl who shot another classmate and whom terminated her life with her own gun in a high school, in Alpine Texas. Also, a bomb threat that took place in a University close by where the shooting occurred will also be discussed. In a Texas high school a shooting took place where a person was dead and two more were injured. According to reporters, a 14 year old girl brought a gun to Alpine High School and shot a classmate; however, the shooter is believed to have taken her life after the shooting. It is interesting that a 14 year old had a gun in her hands. Someone that age cannot really understand the importance of life because she has not lived life. However, she had the bravery to pull the trigger and wound a classmate as well as take her life away.

I believe this girl did not have an idea of the sorrow that her actions were going to cause to her family and the family of those who she could have killed; the shooter caused many people to worry about their love ones. According to the reporters, many parents were anxiously waiting for the release of their children from the high school where the tragedy took place. Also, the shooter caused her family to wonder about what they did wrong for the girl to have done what she did. Many people now days are not taking the meaning of life seriously; they think that playing with guns, or killing people is a fun thing to do. The question that arises is; where did the girl find the weapon? How did she have access the all the ammunitions she had? I believe that parents or guardians who have children or teenagers at home should be careful as to where they locate their guns; parents need to make sure that their guns stay in a safe and secure place so teenagers like the shooter in Texas do not have immediate access to
