Lexicon and Language

Language is the most critical tool in understanding the dialects and usage that may often be difficult without proper education and knowledge. Analyzing language is key to understanding and avoiding misunderstandings and misinformation about different cultures within our world, even generational differences within our own community. In continuing to discover language one needs to understand many things including; the key features that make up verbal and written languages. Language and lexicon go hand in hand when one starts to learn about communication. For Helen Keller, language was built from content and because she was so mentally mature when this building began, she could remember and relate to the process with a fully developed reasoning mind. The prolific author’s first word was ``water ' ', from her experience of a running stream over her hand. She then represented the word spelled in sign with her the hand. This way the word for ``water ' ' was created in her mind for the first time as the representation of something she could experience. Levels of Language
There are four levels of language structure and processing are phonemes, words, sentences, and texts. The first level of language structure and processing is phonemes. Phonemes are sounds; these sounds must be remembered and understood correctly according to the language. Phonemes make up words, which must be remembered and understood correctly according to the language.
Words make up sentences, which must be remembered and understood correctly according to the language. Sentences make up texts, which must be remembered and understood correctly according to the language.

In order to carry on a conversation with a person one must be able to correctly understand a language. In order to correctly understand a language one must be able to remember phonemes and words.
