Healthy Eating The Benefits and Roles on the Body Over time sitting and eating at the table with family has slowly drifted away. Now with all the new restaurants popping up everywhere he or she turns, who has time to stop and eat healthy? While most people do not take time for themselves, one must take time out for their bodies. Healthy eating is the number one priority when it comes to having a healthy body. Though not everyone may eat healthy, healthy eating contributes to weight loss, better performance, improves body health, reduces risk of illnesses, and lowers health care cost. If the want is there, be assured that the benefits of eating healthy are abundant. To understand the factors of obtaining a healthy eating habit, one must first be aware that eating healthy is not going to be easy. Healthy eating will help to contribute to weight loss. A change in many of the diets that people use or are on, prove to be beneficial and substantial ways of controlling their weight. Everyone has a particular system in there bodies. One persons’ diet is never the same as another. One has to go by what there body is lacking and may need more to benefit that problem. For many of people, eating healthy on a regular basis is something we do not have time for (Bruton, 2007). The average person is relying on the wrong type of diet or eating the improper amounts of servings needed throughout the day. By revising ones’ diet, he or she will raise there metabolism, which in turn, burns fat. While diets are a beneficial way to lose weight, without routine exercise, ones’ body will not reach optimal health. Exercising boost energy, reduces stress, helps you sleep better and lifts our mood. It’s important to eat regular to ensure that your body gets the required amount of energy to move. Skipping a meal doesn’t help loss weight, it means that you will be more likely to eat more during the next meal.
Parents always want what is best for their children. They strive to provide for them, teach them, and to watch them grow into healthy, loving individuals. Despite this many parents continue to foster a habit that may prevent the goal of good health, unhealthy eating. Americans today consume too much fat, sugar, and food in general and its shows; rates of obesity and weight/diet related diseases such as diabetes are extremely high. In order to slow and eventually put a stop to this trend parents need to not only be aware and informed, but also need to take action and institute healthy eating habits from the very beginning.
Proper nutrition is important in maintaining a long and healthy life. Most Americans are rushed due to their busy work schedules, and do not take the time to plan their diets properly. Like me, most Americans are unaware of the importance of eating a healthy diet and consume too many foods without the proper nutrients. Throughout my life I have been fortunate. I have not had any major health problems, and have been able to consume most foods without having to worry about gaining weight. These last two years, however, I started to gain weight and have become concerned with my diet. Changing my poor eating habits has been difficult for me, however, having this assignment has taught me that it is not as difficult as I previously imagined.
Having to eat so much is problem and the authors have great ideas to help prevent over eating. Americans around the world need to stop eating so much because they play as a role model to the youth and young adolescents. Healthy eating is the most beneficial despite how it sometimes taste.
Eating is extremely important, it is also important to eat healthy. Most Americans eat without any concerns; they are not questioning or researching what they are feeding themselves or their family. A lot of that has to do with their financial stability, not having the time to prepare a meal due to their time-consuming work schedule, also lack of knowledge and education on what they are consuming. As we get older and feel the pressure of obtaining perfect looks, the sensationalism of fad dieting can seem like a dream come true. With the desire of a tiny waist plaguing America, it can be difficult to decide between healthy dieting an exercise, or extreme fad diets promising fast results. When choosing which method will work best for you can be stressful, it is important to think about what is really best for your body. Each form of dieting has different long term results, can affect your overall health, and can have an effect on the rest of your appearance.
Through life we have many different stages to where we are either settling down for a nice home cooked meal or we are constantly on the go, running around our hectic lives, eating very unhealthy foods. Especially in our college years, students are always on the go running to and from class grabbing a burger and fries from a campus restaurant or eating the microwaveable foods like ramen. Many people try to eat healthy, but always succumb to the stereotype that eating healthy is expensive and takes too much time. This is a common misconception because there are ways in which anyone can eat healthy and on a budget as long as they eat proper portions, eat the right kind of foods, and excessive.
For this paper I decided to take a second and evaluate my life and think about what were some of my current lifestyle habits and behaviors and which out of these habits would I like to change. After sitting down and evaluating all of my main habits I categorized them into groups of which ones were helping to lead me to a long healthy lifestyle and which ones were likely to lead me to an unhealthy life and lifestyle. After narrowing these unhealthy habits down to my top three I decided to focus this paper and my attention on my current nutrition and most of all on my negative eating habits. After evaluating my lifestyle and all of my unhealthy habits I felt that my current nutrition level and eating patterns were in need of the most improvement and change.
