Regulation issues includes continues consolidation among health care organizations which require radical changes and Affordable Health Care Act of 2010. All these external challenges cannot be effectively curtail without 3 activities involve in strategic management decision.
The first activity is Strategic thinking, manager in a competitive sector like health care must be a good thinker and use good systematic concepts to better understand the business environment relationship with the sector. Secondly, strategic management involves strategic planning, that is step-by-step process for creating strategic brainstorming and decision making activities. Thirdly, strategic momentum, where the health sector management manage day to day activities, and evaluates strategy, providing style and culture to achieve the business objectives. (Linda E.
