1. Healthcare managers overlook the growth and development of the company or department that they are over looking to ensure the most potential growth, and make the most revenue possible. Managers also overlook supervisors to ensure they are providing proper training, discipline, and are helping to ensure the company or department are on the proper track for growth as well.
Health care managers are in the health care management profession, all that is described above is an explanation of their duties. Different health care professions can vary in what degree of management they must perform.

• Most the time, you will be giving direction to the supervisor that is underneath you to then disperse the information and rules to the rest of employees that the supervisor overlooks.
• You will also have to make decisions that can be tough, but for the benefit of the company to continue to ensure overall growth.
3. Interpersonal skills are important to health care because if you are not able to communicate things you need done the business will not have as much growth as possible. Also, being able to be a ‘friendly’ person with either your bosses or supervisors that come to you for guidance might give a greater outcome than if you were harsh and blunt.

A nursing home has an administrator and other forms of supervisors. For nurses and nurse’s aides their supervisor is the director of nursing. A nurse aide would go to their nurse with a problem who would then go to the director of nurses and if they saw fit the director of nurses would then go the administrator. Unless is was something the administrator could not handle it would be handled within that group internally, but if need be they could go outside of the facility and lean to corporate to handle the issue. This nursing home was set to take care of a certain type of people- geriatrics which is their specialty.
• Service line management – this is the model of management that we see most hospitals use to this day. Maternity wards, cancer centers, intensive care units and more are all apart of one hospital, for example Mercy Hospital. Marcy Hospital has all these different departments and more, the need for these are high. Many doctors go to school with a idea that they want to specialize in one certain area which gives them ore time to learn things that others do not focus on. This line of management allows for higher quality care which gives patients and employees more
