Success and highly paid jobs is every person’s goal. If given the opportunity, nobody would refuse a dream job, a huge salary and a luxury apartment. But what is it that really brings success? Is there a secret for success? Success is deemed by the majority to be a combination of hard work and luck. In fact, people can attribute their success to relentless labor or they can attribute it to other external forces such as luck. However, knowing which one of these two factors has the largest impact on one’s success is subject of a great debate. Some say there is absolutely no substitute for hard work and that the latter is the one and only more important than hard work in order to live wealthy. A third opinion would be that there are other factors such as fraud and bribery that come into account when talking about success. Nonetheless, the only way to achieve success remains an equal share of both luck and hard work and intelligence. First of all, there are several ways to define success. In fact, what is successful to a person doesn’t have to be success for another person. In this essay, we will tackle success as having a good career and earning a decent wage.
