and sisters: Brandon(17), David (21), Sarah(14),and Tiffany(16), who is also Hannahs twin, have to go too. Hannah’s dad wants all of them to go to a camp where they learn fighting. But then that night, someone broke into their house and kidnapped Sarah. Her dad said that he would take care of the problem and that they still have to go to the camp. No one was convinced but agreed to go anyway. Hannah desperately needs to find her mom’s killer, so she is paying a visit to Emma a computer genius who is one of her best friends. “Hey emma”called out Hannah. “Hey hannah! Long time no see! How have you been girl? ”Emma asked. “I’ve been great. I need a favor.” Hannah replied. “Ask away” Emma said “ You know those robots that you made? The ones that can look like anyone?” Hannah questioned. “Ummm...yes but I’m not allowed to make them or hand them out anymore.” “What! Why?”Hannah asked “Because the government said that they break the ‘identity law” Emma answered “Pleeeease? I really need one that looks like me and that is programmed to be at the camp.” Hannah begged “ Sarah has been kidnapped.” Emma’s face went serious. “Ok” Emma agreed “Thank you so much.” said Hannah So the next day Hannah went to the camp, set the robot up and took all the supplies she will need.
The clue she had was a bullet she stole from the police. The gun was from a store called “Garrett’s guns”, which Hannah heard of but never been to. So, she went and asked everyone in the staff about who bought the gun. One of them said it was someone who wore a black outfit and a mask that covered the face. They showed her the security cameras and a picture of the mask. It was all black with a a red string hanging of the side of it. They also said that they didn’t know where she went after that.
“Why’d you ask, kid?” One of them asked.
“That’s not your business to ask about, sir” she replied. She failed in finding her sister so she headed back to the camp. The next day, her dad called the camp and said that he wanted his kids home. The camp directors reluctantly agreed so Hannah’s family was back together again at home. However, Sarah was still missing and no one liked that. Later, Hannah went to Abigail’s house, the front door was open so she quietly stepped inside. Then she spotted something on the counter, it was the black mask that the staff at “Garrett’s Guns” showed her. She looked around to make sure Abigail wasn’t around and then went inside her
basement. When they were little, Abigail always said to never go in her basement. But Hannah was curious and scared, why was the mask even there? So she went inside the basement and there was Sarah tied up in a chair with a gag. Hannah immediately freed her and Sarah hugged her. As they were about to leave, they heard a voice. “ Where do you think you’re going?”asked Abigail, she was hold a gun and aiming at Hannah. Then, someone knocks out Abigail from behind. “Are you okay?”asks Hannah’s dad. “We are fine, thank you so much dad” Hannah and Sarah replied. six months later... “ Miss Davidson, please come on up the stage and receive your medal of honor as a token of appreciation for your bravery.” Hannah was getting a medal for saving her sister and finding out who sarah’s kidnapper was. ...and end of the film, it is clear that there is a substantial amount of freedom within a summer camp, and it can be as good as you make it. The camp counselors are portrayed in two lights – one as adult kids who are irresponsible, and the opposing as dictators who never give you a break. This film also sets a standard for friendships, as the kids were willing to look out for each other and help one another.
Hannah the main character, Hannah starts off at a dinner with her family which she thinks is very boring where Hannah who thinks she drank too much wine believing that she is daydreaming. Whilst in her mind as she was "daydreaming" Hannah had came into the kitchen to new surroundings very confused she was greeted by a girl named Eva who had greeted her by the name of Chaya. (Chaya meaning life). Hannah soon hears from Eva that it is the year 1942 and that both her parents were very ill and passed away being left for her Aunt Gitl and Uncle Shmuel to take care of her. In the first place, she was developed to be secretive because of her loneliness, but befriending Jacob, Norman, and Paul makes her more social, which showed that life is better with sociability. This portion of the novel helped state that, "She looked surprised as though she couldn't believe she had talked so much " ( from page 131). Hannah is generally secretive and lonely, for she lost her family and was made as an example for her lost ears, but when she found out that Jacob was caring and friendly, she decided to trust him and answer his questions. Afterward, she was surprised and stopped, as if waking up from a dream but did not regret it totally. What we should discern from that, Finding a caring friend could change the reality. Moreover, their friendship then developed, and they got to be a family. In the second place, Hannah was unpredictable but did not point to it directly, yet exposed it for her friends, she did all she could. That was stated indirectly in the section on page 161, " She looked at the faces around her – Jacob, Oteka, Paul – and it was as though she began to draw strength from their courage emanating from them and enveloping her. " What Hannah only needed to reveal her real personality and impulsiveness was some courage from her friends, that she loved and cared for, which she read in their eyes. So, McKay delivered " friendship is strong " by making Hannah impulsive. If she was designed to be calm or shy, Norman would not have made it, or even Jacob, sacrificing it to save his friend. Hannah was described in that figure to enhance the idea of friendship's power in
...of her father. She takes greater pride in calling herself his daughter, even though she cannot tell anyone about what happened. This event plays a great role in how Scout views talents and people’s attitude towards their own skills.
Abigail Williams is the troubled niece of Reverend Parris of Salem. She is an orphan; made so by brutal natives who killed her parents before her very eyes. Imagine just two young kids maturing within a matter of years. Imagine that same two kids, experiencing or understanding things that they aren’t meant to at a young age. Jem and Scout were just like that. They have experienced many things that they shouldn’t have at their age. Scout on the other hand, seems to be the one maturing the most. Throughout this whole essay, you will learn about Jem and Scout’s attributes, personality, and how alike or different they are from each other.
That same night, I walked by Hannah’s cell and I saw her staring down at a newspaper clip out of a young teenager shaking hands with another man. I recognized that the boy was the man who visited today. Could he be Hannah’s son? If he is, then why hadn’t he visit her all this time? Hannah brushed her fingers across the books on her shelf, and took out a sheet of paper and started writing in it. This time, her eyes turned grey and they were empty, but free.
The first is that this case is a terrifying tragedy, where a community and a family are devastated. This is shown through the two articles “Hannah Graham’s Parents Make Emotional Plea for Help” and “Two Girls Gone: Family Shares Grief and Plead for Vigilance.” These articles pull at the heartstrings of the public. It is an attempt to gain more viewers by creating a sense of sadness and also relatability, since Hannah was a smart, young, innocent woman simply out on the town having
The tapes are the centerpiece of the story and the largest motif for showing the impact that people have on those around them— even if they do not realize it. While it would be easy to write a paper on every person on the tape and how they made an impression on Hannah’s life, the focus is on Alex and his story. Alex’s story affected many people – not just Hannah. Alex’s Best of Freshman Class and Worst of Freshman Class list affected everyone whose name made that list. Hannah is not afraid to call him out on that fact; "There are some sick and twisted people out there, Alex – and maybe I'm one of them— but the point is, when you hold people up for ridicule, you have to take responsibility when other people act on it" (53). Sure, the way this list objectified women let them be handled like they were toys for men, but it definitely hit every girl’s self-esteem. The perfect example of this is the fight that Hannah and Jessica have in the café. The whole fight started over their names being on that list. While Alex made the list as a fun joke, he unknowingly ruined a friendship; Isolating Hannah further. “It’s a punch in the stomach and a slap in the face. It's a knife in my back..."(68). Alex's quest for popularity in a new school left him unaware that the choice he was making to pass around a list, a list that idolized the way his
