Imagine having the worst potential Halloween nightmares come to life for a night. Everything from the “Boogeyman” to innocent random people being killed by chainsaws and other disturbing ways. The film Halloween does all that and then some. The movie begins with an innocent looking six year old boy named Michael Myers dresses up in a clown costume and stabs his older sister Judith to death. After that incident Michael ends up going to jail with a plan of being put away for a long time. Then on October 30, 1978 about fifteen years after Michael was sent to jail he escapes. Michael escaping proves to be a major event as most would guess. However, the underlying note in all of this is that the following day is Halloween. Unfortunately, One of the first things Michael does upon departing prison is robbing a mechanic for his uniform and steal a mask from a convenience store which ultimately gave Michael a “Boogeyman” image. Halloween morning comes and a high school girl named Laurie was walking to school like any other morning. The only thing Laurie did different on Halloween morning was carried out a favor for her father who is a real estate agent. The favor was dropping off a key at Michael’s old house as the home was about to be sold. Little did Laurie know is that the house is haunted and that it would ultimately lead to Michael stocking her. Throughout the day Laurie caught on to Michael following her and she alerted her friends Annie and Lynda. Annie and Lynda shrug off her concerns and think she is just acting differently. The school day goes by and not much has changed since the morning as Michael is still stalking Laurie but no one seems to really believe Laurie. Then the main part of Halloween comes night time. Lynda has plans to hang out with her boyfriend. While Laurie and her friend Annie have a less eventful night planned as they are both babysitting. Laurie is babysitting a boy named Tommy and Annie is babysitting a Laurie and Tommy share mutual feeling toward the “Bogeyman.” The night starts off well, but then Lynda continuously called Annie to let her know she along with her boyfriend Bob were going to stop by Lindsay’s house. After calling multiple times Lynda and Bob arrive to an empty house. Lynda didn’t seem to worry too much as her and Bob sat down for a minute, then proceeded to the bedroom and remained there for a good portion of the night. After a while Bob returns downstairs to grab a few beers. Bob has the beer in hand then out of nowhere Michael a.k.a the “Boogeyman” jumps out and stabs Bob to death. Lynda didn’t notice right away and really never did as after killing Bob the “Boogeyman” heads up to the bedroom and kills Lynda. Laurie doesn’t hear from Annie and Lynda for a while so after staying inside most of the night she decides to walk across the street to check in. As soon as Annie descends on the house she notices multiple dead bodies on the ground. In a panic Laurie looks around the house for a minute and to her surprise Michael appears. Laure has a little bit of luck and dodges a death attempt from Michael while in Lindsey’s house. Laurie then dashes
