As stated in the overview, to implement the HLPI program in all of the selected Minneapolis Public schools approximately 400,000 dollars would be needed. A breakdown of the costs is as follows;

1. Five teachers would be hired full time teaching both semesters of the year at each individual school. An average salary for a teacher in Minneapolis is roughly 50,000 a year. Totaling about 250,000 dollars of funding needed. The majority of the funds raised will go towards paying the teachers.

2. The teachers will then need classroom supplies such as textbooks to effectively teach the class, an estimate of 10,000 dollars’ worth of school supplies will be needed for each school. Totaling about 50,000 dollars. This is a one time cost and only
