Our candidates for president have very non-balanced opinions on all the political issues. There are many political issues but gun control and the problems on the no-fly list stand out with many opinions and ideas. Gun Control Trump is against gun control, and thinks we need to do something about this problem. Trump says, “Get serious about prosecuting violent criminals. Get gang members and drug dealers off the street to make our cities and communities safer.” He thinks that we need to make the community a safer place for the citizens so we don’t have as many crimes and criminals roaming around, but he doesn’t want to start “no guns” because some are for safety issues not all of them are for harm. Later he also says, “Expand mental health programs to keep the mentally ill off of our streets.” So if you have a medical problem, we need to make the programs bigger so we don’t have people accidentally turning something into a crime. “Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea …show more content…

Clinton says, “I believe weapons of war have no place on our streets.” This is a strong statement because she has a big opinion about this subject, and has a lot to say about it. We can tell that she wants to do something about this political issue, and she wants people with guns that are hurting people to be punished.
