Mission statement gives an overview of the motive behind establishing an industry and the goals and objectives of that industry. Business strategy means to predict the goals of an organization and to develop methods and ways to achieve those goals.
Google is an organization that provide information to the world in which it can be accessible easily and letting people make use of the information, so the statement of Google reads as following : ’’to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.’’
This mission statement gives an idea of how Google wants to conduct its business, So it always seek to achieve customer satisfaction and made sure that users are getting most accurate data .

Google’s organizational strategy supports its business strategy by building a culture of innovation and creativity. Based on Google’s mission statement we find that it relates to its business strategy by making systems available to all of its employees through its corporate Intranet and also keeping accessible data on all ongoing projects. In addition, Google’s “free day” policy is a kind of strategy which let employees to work on other projects on that day.

Says Sandra Kelly, market researcher, 3M Corporation. “I would guess that smart people will use the Internet for smart things and stupid people will use it for stupid things in the same way that smart people read literature and stupid people read crap fiction.” She further states. Google is the gateway to a multitude of new ideas and approaches. Failure to use Google in an applicable, sensible, way, will, in fact, be a waste of time and make you stupid.
Google was founded by two University of Stanford graduate students Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Their main objective of founding the company was to be able to retrieve specific data from massive amounts of information. The two developed a proprietary technology that would become the ultimate search engine. Initially the pair worked out of their dorm room, then a garage, and once they had quickly outgrown these "facilities" they had moved on to a much larger facility where they reside to this day. It seemed to be a matter of time before they had conquered the continental United States, and had begun to eye the lands across the pond.

The leaders of Google have well understood the means to make Google’s company different to the other companies. They established since the beginning an original way of work, controlling the recruitment of the new members, and imposing their vision on the employees.
Its persistence and incredible energy are definably the keys of success. The first model created inside the company was focusing on the users, and the rest will be followed achieved. Also, the company figured out that being great at one thing was going to be the right path to follow. Plus, especially when dealing with technology, being able to provide a fast service was going to gain numerous customers. Moreover, Google’s model was based on democracy and ethical behavior. It is not necessary to become evil in order to be successful. Information is precious and a company like Google is always in need of information. There is plenty of information out there waiting to be found, and it only needs someone to look in the right place. Dressing like a professional does not make a person one. The mission statement is a condensed version of the firm’s strategic plan (Brigham & Houston, 2013). In a nutshell, the mission statement should provide a clear vision of the purpose of the business. A company’s mission statement can be likened to a lighthouse, or in today’s terms, to a GPS. It is a precise statement, containing pinpoint clear direction and focus of what the firm does, how the firm does it, who it is done for, and the values they stand by (Brigham & Houston, 2013). If any employees, or the company as a whole, lose track of their goals, their direction, or sense of purpose, the mission statement helps remind them and get them back on track.

The strategy of Google seems to focus of innovation. Innovation providing superior user experience makes the user promote the application because the customer just love it. This gives rise to more usage, which in turn gives rise to more advertising revenues for Google. More and more products of Google are coming into the lifestyle of user and the strategy appears to completely dominate internet and eventually dominate desktop as well. All Google needs to do is to edit their motto related to categorization /classification of information.
