The police car stopped at the bottom of the driveway, in the back was a teenage girl, still too young to understand the world around her. Her mother slowly opened the door. A look of worry turned to anger. The girl watched as her mother marched out to greet the police officers. The officers talked and talked to the mother. The look of anger turned to compassion, tears. The girl didn't even move, she wasn't thinking about her mum, nor the two police officers, not even the fact that she was in the back of a police cruiser. The mother kept walking with her daughter, to the TV. Any attempt to bring her daughter off the subject of her dead brother, but the TV was no use, the TV channels were showing St Louis's destruction site, and several images of three Templar against the alien invaders. Then the mother said "I don't know why evil occurs, though there are some who try to stop it. They are just empowering it to act up more. This world doesn't need no hero. It needs a person willing to use courage in the face of evil. To not compromise in the face of Armageddon.To be the light in the darkness. If that is one of our 'heroes' so be it."
